Any way to use his QR Code generator to launch exploit? I see there there is a lot on gethub but I'm unable to to get the web stuff to work.

After some research it appears his website is absolutely 100% required to install Ninjhax. I was getting ready to set up my O3DS with Pasta CFW, and a firmware spoofer so I could safely transfer onto my N3DS, when this all happened. So I naturally found the necessary QR code elsewhere, however every time I got it to successfully scan, it would glitch out, freeze, and crash the game.

Smea's website hold's the payload and some other important files. Since it is all opensource, I am pretty surprised nobody has bothered to put up a mirror in case something like this happens.

I'm not. You have to reverse engineer Cubic Ninja's exefs to get the blowfish key needed to compile it.

That'd work if the activity was actually illegal.

It works even if it's not illegal. Nintendo could file a DMCA notice, his ISP has to comply, and he can choose to appeal. He'll probably just move to another ISP instead of dealing with the DMCA appeals process.

Then they just move ISP again and again to avoid the DMC complaint ?

Well, you could... but once you've been notified of an infringement it becomes willful infringement and the penalties are more severe. I guess it all depends where he and the website are hosted.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was a bully tactic. Since they know they have more money to pursue this in court... I'm sure he wouldn't spend the time, effort, and most importantly money trying to fight it.

Fully open-source it and let everyone else host it.
