it failed once again, i had no pirated roms included in this one, i even used your latest patch you made earlier today wtf :( it doesn't even work on my 4.5 o3ds

This has left me baffled. Can someone else report to me whether they're getting a freeze after picking their starter pokemon?

i wonder if i use an existing save from my Pokemon Y copy that is directly after that freeze it would work, because i really want to play this a LOT

That's a great idea! Try that and let me know. I'll wait and see if others report a similar problem to me to try and fix this.

could you possibly PM me a pastebin with a mega link to the rom? so i can download it and test it out on that? because all the roms i compile usually end up crashing like crazy in the most random intervals but of course work on normal roms, my hacked oras rom doesn't act like this at all either, so i think the roms i make are somehow corrupted :(

Heya,

I don't own a Flashcard like Gateway or such and I only use the PalantineCFW 4.5
I have a retail copy of Pokemon X and want to know if it is possible to play Pokemon Neo X on this Palantine CFW. Does this work?

TheDreamLord Asia81 gamesquest1 Alright so I redid from scratch so now the patcher patches the 'Romfs' folder and not the 'a' folder. Try it out and let me know if it's working now: https://www.mediafire.com/?m5vbi708nu0gn7j

pdensco Point it to your Romfs folder it should be pretty simple

Re-decrypted it... Still doesn't work. I tried with SDK 6 and SDK 7. The first option just didn't work at all for me to decrypt. Could it be a problem with using xorpads?

It decrypted fine... I can play music.

To those with patching problems I was thinking of simply uploading just the edited garc files in an folder with a simple process to copy and replace as an alternative measure of installing. Although, not sure if this is allowed can someone confirm or not?

^I agree.
Is it a must to do the patching like that?
Does patching with something like IPS or XDelta not possible for 3DS ROMs due to some mumbo-jumbo?

For create a Patch :
1) Open xDeltaUI-Mod.exe
2) CreatePatch tab

Original File = Open your 3DS Rom DECRYPTED, but UNTOUCHED !!
Modified File = Open your RomEdited/HackRom
Patch Destination : Save your patch with the name you want

For use a Patch :
1) Create a txt file (.txt) and rename it GAME.3ds
2) Open xDeltaUI-Mod.exe
3) ApplyPatch tab

Patch : Open your patch.xdelta
Source File : Target your GAME.3ds
Destination File : Save it with the name you want

Tried myself and the game run fine
