I just got my japanese copy of OoT so I can finally use my JP N3DS that's been collecting dust

Can confirm no issues whatsoever, put the save on the cart and Gateway loaded up like a charm

Didn't even have to use the fixed save files that that sonic dude posted on here. Gateway's saves worked fine!

Was able to get a cart that is apparently compatible. I got my r4i to save the file once, saw my 3ds in my sons hands and nhe managed to delete the save lol. Now it fails every time I try to add the save back T_T

Just thought I would update here... for wgaetevr reason the r4i dongle doesn't like loading these saves. I assume it "sees" the error or something. Anyway, I eventually got it to work, and is working on my n3ds xl MM edition.

* doesn't work with 32GB Sandisk MicroSD, gives a save error, worked with 4GB original MicroSD and the first GW OOT save from this post. The official GW save also gave a save error. I had to press the A button directly after the save was loaded and you could see Link in the hut or the game would freeze.

On a sidenote, you can just hotswap the microsd card for a bigger one when running bigbluemenu to install .cia's.

Works y/n: Yes. I did the transfer of the save game on an old 3DS and at first the Zelda game said that the file is corrupt. But then I just used the original SD card that came with this 3DS and it worked fine after that... so don't use 16GB (or more GB) SD cards

BUT !!!: It freezes sometimes =/ Just try it over and over again.
