How are you booting emuNAND? OoT3D or Cubic Ninja? I've heard cubic ninja is more reliable. I know for a fact OoT is a bit messy.
Also, make sure the mSD in your GW cart is housed properly, since the GW itself is quite cheap quality, and I've seen ppl have similar issues because of that.
And yea, I've powered it on/off so many times lol. Just transferring CIA files, and trying to convert a cart save to a cia save lol.
Any luck on the cart save -> cia save? I was trying that too. I found some good info, but apparently retail -> cia 7.x encryption isn't possible. For save games that were launched from 3ds roms via gateway cart, savedatafiler can be used, or nintendo's approved save-game transfer tool. Some people said it was possible with MT-card.
btw, cubic ninja exploit fails way more than the web exploit did. Sometimes I get the gateway boot menu, but when actually going into emunand, it hangs on black screen. It just takes patience and faith now.
Go into system settings, verify the version number starts with GW3D, do not exit system settings at any time, scroll all the way to the right and select "system update".
I've seen it discouraged to update from eshop, but some users did sleep mode update, when the GW3D thing was broken.
Never update with eShop unless a game update. Goto Setting > System update but don;t leave settings or you'll get booted back to sysnand and make sure you see GW3D in front of firmware.

Still working on it. Don't wanna sleep til it's done >.> really weird. I did convert to .3ds save, but I can't seem to move it to from .3ds to CIA save :/

I don't mean to jump your shit but what the hell were you thinking? Show me where in documentation or on this forum where anyone with credibility has said it is a recommended practice to update emunand that way.

it can be done & there are people who update that way but obviously the tool has bugs so i told the cool guy who made it & he said he's going to fix it once he receives his CN copy. thanks
2Hack i'm using CN it seems to work so & so after updating the emunand via system settings but i still get black screens every time i turned i try to boot gw mode,i hope they fix this bug in their next update,also i have no idea why but bigbluemenu also gave me black screen with warning on the screen about system error but i searched google & was able to find old copy of devmenu.3ds which seem to be working ok.

Guys, just saying something, but i realised that after I formatted emuNAND, I was unable to execute the exploit. I tried the Cubic Ninja method, but all I got was still a blank screen. I figured out perhaps my N3DS's mSD might have something wrong in it and I plugged it to my pc. I noticed that the Launcher file had been all caps all of a sudden. I replaced the launcher file, and lo and behold, the exploit works.
Try deleting your save game file and scan QR code again. holding L+R+X+Y on the Main Menu
