When do you expect this to be out? Also would this work on Windows Phone 7.8? I've got a Windows 8.1 laptop that I use anyway, but would be nice to drop this on my old phone too.I was not able to work as much as planned at the app, so the first release will be a few day later.

It does have wifi sharing / hotspot or is that a different thing alltogether?I don't think this is at all possible on a regular wndows phone 7.8 device, I believe the OS does not allow running webservers
Yes, it's something different entirely. Afaik, windows Phone 7.8 lacks the required privileges to run a webserver. It requires a fully unlocked device to allow a webserver to run, in fact I think there's a proof of concept on xda developers somewhere. However, an app like that requires your phone rom to be fully unlocked (sorta like rooting on android) which is not available for a lot of devices (pretty much only the first generation of WP 7.8 phones support that) and an app that has the appropriate system permissions will never be allowed on the <edit>7.8</edit> marketplace. It does have wifi sharing / hotspot or is that a different thing alltogether?
Still Windows 8.1 would be great, if the Pi 2 runs some form of Windows 10 would make for a nice little offline backup box.
As fast as possible, but I would like to be satisfied with the app before the releaseWhats the expected release window?

But I think to release it faster I add the folder picker, to select a Folder for serving own files, to the WP part after the first release(because the WP folderpicker is more complicated than the normal one)
No, it has some file(html for gateway, the multilauncher and some .dat(regeionthree...) integrated, and allows a simple selection of the intigrated files+parameters. But if you have your own .dat or code.bin that should be loaded, you will be able to serve them to.So you are going to "release" an app that is a webserver with a qr or what? You need to have the files and payloads downloaded in your sd etc?
There are few apps that do what you are saying...
Sounds great, I'm now thinking of moving away from my Lumia 710 WP 7.8 to a Lumia 635 WP 8.1 will the app work on 512mb of ram phones? Though I did read a 1GB version of the lumia 635 is now starting to become availableSorry for the late answer, but i wasnt able to login using Facebook(i think i should create a normal gbatemp account some day ).
I wasnt abel to do much work on my app, but now I should have more time to do the fixes I would like to do. The design is still very simple, and not much diffrent from my last screenshot.
