I remember playing it on Nintendo 64. I beat it completely, 100%

It was fun, I played it all the time.

I'm so excited about it!

I am so excited - it's my all time favourite videogame. There is no other game I spend that much time on - even in Singleplayer Mode.

Graphics look very kiddy even though i don't remember the original much, but as long as it's online that will decently help.

P.S i wouldn't get to excite there marz93 nintendo just might put some shit in there just like mario cart to be funny.

I loved the game, but how well will it play without an analog stick? Many N64 ports are trash on the DS IMO, like trying to play Mario 64 on the d-pad or touchscreen; it just sucks.

Just imagine Mario Kart with a monkey, planes, hoverboats and balloons, and you have Diddy Kong racing.

Diddy kong racing should be great though if it follows from the 64 versions greatness. i hope they have lots of new tracks and things though too otherwise i might get bored.

I don't think they're quite that similar, but some of the gameplay mechanics are similar.

So from what I hear they really screwed this port up. They force a bunch of gimmicky stylus controls on you, like instead of just timing the gas button to get a boost at the start of the race, you have to rub the screen a bunch, or much worse; for the hovercraft you have to blow in the mic. They replaced the coin challenges with this mode where you fly around the coarse wherever you want in first person with stylus controls just popping balloons. Boss fights are now just drawing lines and spinning a wheel on the touch screen.
