ROM Hack [TUTORIAL] Mario Kart 7 Spider Exploit: Unlock Everything [TUTORIAL]

Guys I'm not sure this hack is a good idea at all because I was just playing online and the top geezer had all the gold trim and had 23000 points and was kicking ass, now I had 99999 points and all the gold trim etc.. and was coming nearly last to 4 place because I'm not that great tbh so I kind of think this could be a bad thing using online if your not that great like me on MK7, it may even lead to a ban from Nintendo if they went looking into it! I mean its quite obvious its a hack of some sort your using online to show the rest of the world.

What do others think of using this hack online cause I mean its quite blatantly obvious to everyone else who is online at the same time as you, in fact other racers where getting quite nasty with me, reversing on purpose using shells and stars just to annoy me?

You can't though, if you use the hack then you can't switch it off when you go online so whats the point in using it in the first place? just for your own satisfaction to think to yourself how good you have done getting 99999 and all the gold trim? wtf is the point in that.

There's no point, it just shows it can be done, it's all up to you to use it or not.
And yes i own a retail game and i never whent online with it, i'm just enjoying it on single play, i don't have a need to compete against others or the rest of the world to enjoy this game.
So, yupz i tried it (after backing up my save) and it worked, so i wiped it again and placed my sav back, cause i also don't have the need to drive the gold stuff to enjoy the game, i preffer to unlock everything myself
as much as possible without going online.

nvm, I got it to work. I just had to delete my cookies and history.

You got a point but all those rude online player can suck it the VR point mean nothing. Anything can happen it mario kart it just a matter of your driving skills

I try it on Emunad 9.5 with a cia version and it work fine. Try redownloading the files again it might be a bad download

I tried this on my two different region 3DS consoles, one is JPN and the other is TWN.
The results are TWN one doesn't work, I tried about 5~6 times with retail card of
Mario Kart 7 (TW version) and running on SysNAND 4.5 or EmuNAND 9.0 (classic mode).
Then I tried the same retail card on JPN console with SysNAND 9.2 (yes, with classic mode),
and it finally worked successfully and I just ran this hack once on the JPN console.

Yeah that's true, I am just crap and that's why it looks the more obvious with 99999 points next to my name all pimped up with the gold trim

but on a serious note I don't want my 3ds suddenly banning because Niti has noticed how bad I really am and thought....."hold on a minute this guy is really crap and he has 99999 points???, wtf?, ban his ass now Satoru Iwata quick time, he is just awful and does not deserve his status on MK7!"

Just tried this and it worked, most important part is the waiting 60 sec.

And I doubt nintendo is looking at individual race cases to see who's skill level isn't reflecting their points. Only if you're driving faster than you should or some obvious cheats I'd imagine.

Hello GBATEMP Community

This tutorial will show you how to unlock everything in Mario Kart 7 (beside the Golden Steering Wheel) and give you 99,999 VR by simple opening you web browser. So lets get started.

What you'll need:

Mario Kart 7

Code.bin

Directions

Step 1: Computer

Download Code.bin

Copy Code.bin to the root of the 3DS SD Card.

Step 2: 3DS

Put the SD Card back into the 3DS and turn it on

Start Mario Kart 7 and press the home button (DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME)

Open the web browser and type the following URL --> go.albertosonic.com or http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode.dat

Your screen will flicker then the browser will close and give you an error code

Close the error code and go back to Mario Kart 7

Wait 60 sec for the data to load and test it out

Once you unlock everything close the game and save it so everything stays unlock

PS: You might need to run the exploit more than once to get it to work. I had to run it twice before I got it to work.

Well, I used this exploit into my game (eShop version, if that counts) with success. Although I'm only finding people with high VR online now
