damn, just when i got the original Phoenix Wright ( no JFA for me )my DS doesn't charge, i bought another charger but it didn't seem to work :\

i searched around and on the maxconsole forums this guy ultrablade said
QUOTE said:
Internal Fuse 1 blew. You can easily fix it by bridging the fuse with solder. Just remove the old one and shorten it, or just solder over it. Or replace the fuse period. (Best option)

So yeah, two of my DS's blew, before I could solder (I can do it quite professionally now! )

But yeah, its easy. Anymore problems, just tell me.

Nintendo will repair it for free if under warranty.

uB

however i'm not under warrenty and i have no idea what that means, i opened 'er up and i'm pretty confident i can solder things right just i don't know what contacts to what

on the other hand it could be an excuse to get a lite ( although i have no money for anything :\)

help with a pic please?

Does the DS still work when you have the adapter plugged in? With what you posted it just sounds like your battery isn't recharging. If the DS comes on with the adapter plugged in it might be the battery.

thanks man, hey what value is that fuse anyway? i'd much rather just replace the fuse rather then doing this and running the risk of frying my DS

Not sure. I never measured it - it was too much hassle to find a replacement. Soldering over it works fine. Sorry.
