I've been busy lately with school and things like that, but I managed to translate a majority of stage 2 today. Up until when you get the green key (so, not too far from the end of the stage). Slowly progressing!
That's still some nice progress!

yeah it all just depends, if you try to make sure you dont change the file sizes drastically, it usually works out fine.....its something we can try anyways, if it doesn't work it doesn't work, but we can at least try it out and see how well it works, you can always just release the files needed with a quick guide and batch scripts for rebuilding....all you would need to do is get them to dump their own xorpads and run a bat file which would unpack, replace and rebuild all in one goThanks for the offer! I'll be sure to keep it in mind for when we get there. I'm kinda confused about how a re-xor patch would work work when the data will probably be shifted around a bit after recompiling the ROM. Any ideas about that?
Thanks for the offer, but I'm waiting until closer to the end for any image-related editing, so there's no need for anything right now.
Slight progress bump! Angular translated the seal texts yesterday. I've also tasked him with translating the instruction manual text, the other system lines (not much there) and maybe enemy names since they're in that range (we'll see about that later I guess). I've also been slowly chugging away at the main story text. So far *most* text up until the beginning of stage 3 should be translated. Counting the translated lines and misc lines that won't be translated, that puts us around 27% translated.
