Hi guys, just another quick question.
Is it possible to use Nintendont while booting games from USB Loader GX?
I already have Dios Mios installed and I think that USB Loader GX uses it to boot GC games.
I already checked at the files that Nintendont is made of and those are only apps launched by homebrew channel.

Can we configure USB Loader GX to use Nintendont?

Sorry again for my bad english...

some small things, it gets harder and harder to find stuff:
-if memcard emu is disabled skip the gc bios for now because it doesnt work
-added a missing EXI call, fixes f-zero ax starting via segaboot if OSReport is disabled
-made it possible to press service and test button in triforce games, the test button is Z and the service button is X, please note that as of now there is no way to exit the test menu

I had an issue where nintendont would fail to boot my GameCube HDD(using a y cable) when my wiiu HDD(self powered) was inserted in the front USB , I had to keep plugging out my wiiu HDD so that nintendont would work . I realised that this issue had been resolved in a later version of nintendont . It is possible to have both HDDs plugged in together but the GameCube HDD must be plugged into the bottom USB port at the back of the wiiu and the wiiu HDD at the top at the back of the console. My problem then was that I was using a short y cable to power my portable GameCube HDD so I was using both USB ports at the back , I got around this issue by purchasing a USB cable extender so now my portable GameCube HDD is getting power from the front of the console and is connected simultaneously with the wiiu HDD at the back , most of this could be skipped if a person used a dedicated power supply for both HDDs(no need for y cable). I hope I can help somebody with this post as this problem took me some time to figure out , it was very tedious . Thanks everyone for this amazing work and the community is so helpful. :)

well just make sure you have meta.xml and boot.dol in the nintendont apps folder
Look, I don't want to be that guy but believe me, I am not that newbie. I did everything correctly, and I even have the latest version taken from the google minisite.
But I guess unless someone more experienced with Nintendont itself knows what it could be, there won't be any solution for me :(
I'm more than willing to do any test\check needed but I'd need someone to tell me what can be done

mattdane said:
At first, it kept telling me "please load nintendont with ahbprot disabled", but thankfully a simple update of the HBC channel fixed it.
However, I still can't run the game because it gets stuck on "Loading patched kernel.... -1". I also tried to run the disk inside instead of an ISO, and it says the same.
I tried to search before making this post but I couldn't find any solution. Any help?

Do I need to have 4.3 firmware by any chance? I think I have 4.2E. Pressing the home button in HBC it tells me that it's using IOS58.

edit: oh btw I'm on a real Wii, not vWii.

just keep trying and the game will eventualy launch for me i did 10 boots and 8 were fine and 2 gave me the error.

Or I can use 283 and have it boot fine every time.

You have missed the point of our posts pedro. PSO does not work flawlessly with 284 as you stated. There is indeed an issue or unexpected side effect of the new build.

lol 284 does nothing to pso nothing at all see the code its all for triforce so if the issue is there it has been there for a long time, 284 is in interely dedicated to the triforce games and uses those games ids only.

the issue is probably there since ever but as nintendont gets more and more coded heavy it might have a higher chance to triger.

Hello, I'm sorry to be asking that question because I imagine that it must have already been answered several times here, but this discussion has over 1100 pages and so it is difficult to find something about it.

My problem is that I can not play Mario Kart Arcade GP, I'm using the latest version of Nintendont and an original GameCube controller, also left the memory card emulation option on. Only the A button works in all menus, but when the race starts nothing else works and the character does not move, what should I do?

I thank in advance for anyone who can help me and I apologize for the possible grammatical errors :)

Regarding Triforce is it possible to change the half match length in Virtua Striker 4 from the 1m30s? to 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45
is there a setting in the service menu for it? or can it be hacked via ar / gecko code?

I've had this issue before. Just keep exiting and trying again, it will most likely do that the first time you try and then work the second or third. I erroneously thought earlier that it was an issue with forcing widescreen, but it appears to be random, for the most part.

I guess we won't know if he doesn't provide his setup

*hint hint wink wink nudge nudge*

Regardless, I think he should try just re-entering the game first since its a relatively common error with MKAGP1

Edit: no, I know for certain now its just a bug *facepalm* I need to pay attention more. He says that he can get into the game, and if his drive was incompatible it would be hanging at "Init DI". So like I said, just exit and re-enter the game a few times and it will sort itself out

Thanks, I'll try again! :yay:

you know aceelrate on triforce is the R button right?

In fact, none of the buttons are working, I tried all.
But it's nothing so serious, I can still use the Quadforce that is running smoothly here ;)
