The light is for debugging purposes. I don't think it matters. I helped someone else prep for GW and apparently he got the same thing, but it installed nicely :]

well I think I was wrong, I went to the test on GW menu and it lightered XD but thanks again XD

btw 2Hack, do you know if it's possible to choose the language I want to boot the game on GW ?for example if I use an eur rom, I can't made an US 3DS menu on every language that have there to boot in on that one õ3o

Hmm, have you tried changing the language of your whole console?

1) you must format sysNAND. That is the only drawback

2) Yes, you have to format, and no it won't force you to update. It just requires you to be connected so it can unlink sysNAND and the NNID :) make sure the sd is not in the console when doing it though

So once I have them unlinked I won't have to open the gifts every time I go into emunand? Any other reasons you can think of for separating them?

yes I tried , for example, Eur smash brothers4 have Portuguese language, but even with my menu in Portuguese (US console) it will boot in English (I didnt tried with Spanish and French yet to see if happens the same ).
And also, as example, I want to play star fox 64 3D in Italian, that aren't available on a US console ?
I wonder if there's something like the " gecko loader" or even the options of some USb loaders have, that you choose the langauge you want to make the game boot, if it's on the rom, of course xD

Hey guys, I have a question about my Gateway.
When I press select in the Home Menu to select the MultiRom menu, sometimes it load normally the roms and sometimes not, saying "Microsd card not ready" (even when I wait for a while)
When the roms loads normally and I select them, it shows a load bar but the game doesn't actually appears in the home menu and thus, I can't play it, like if I had closed the Multirom Menu without choosing anything at all. When I press select to try again, it says the same message as before, "Microsd card not ready".

Sometimes the game loads properly, but its a 20% chance to happen.

My Emunand is updated and I'm using the 3.0.3 Gateway version. I have tried 3 sd cards, so I can't blame the one I'm using now.

Someone can help?

is this micro Sd formated in exFAT ?
if yes and keep the problem, I think your SD card on GW is a bad brand or defective? or the classic " do paraguai" xD *sorry*

Try formating it in exFAT, if still not work, if you have another SD try using it
remember that the games files must be on the root of te GW microSD

Oh, sorry.

I already tested 3 SD cards, and yes, they are formatted in exFAT.

You did not test 3 SD cards with the gateway. It only accepts micro SD cards. Things are going to get really confusing if you do not use the proper terms.

What brand and class are the microSD cards you are using? What OS did you use to format them?

hmm so I don't know ... open the GW menu and try the diagnostic test, see if it don't give you something wrong

Nothing wrong in the diagnostic.

Oh, sorry. Yea, I tested 3 Micro SD.

One is a Kingstom SDHC 16GB class 4, the other is a Sandisk Ultra 16GB class 10, and the last is a Sandisk 2GB (the last one was used only for test).

Let's look at something else. Are the roms downloaded or did you dump your own carts? If downloaded try a different source and see if that works.

Hello guys!
I just bought a R5SDHC card and I'm having some problems.
I'm using the last template and disc writer files. So far, so good.
When I turn on my 3DS, the game inside change after 3 seconds, and I have to press the R5 button to fix in the game I want to play. No problem in here, I think... that's normal, right?
The BIG problem is: when I change the game, save data corrupts! I've tried to turn off and on 3DS before change games, tried to change with 3DS on and nothing! Save data always corrupt.
Why this is happening? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Well, less bugs in general, but ye. It's much more stable to have emuNAND and sysNAND unlinked.

Sorry, last question. If I already have all of my stuff from my sysnand on my emunand will anything bad happen by unlinking?
