Is this after booting the game through USBLGX or Nintendont itself?
Nintendont itself. I actually can't get a game to launch from USBLGX using Nintendont because the Auto Boot setting won't stay toggled.

Even with USBLGX auto boot set to true, Nintendont will not retain the setting.Well thats... weird. Have you tried setting autoboot in GX yet?
This has been a constant issue for me since using Nintendont. I have not gotten it to work. Ever.Autoboot and all settings works for me. Even per game setting.
Ok so I'm going to assume my problem with random game freezes is the USB Stick.
Since it seems many people here use an HDD (Hard Disk Drive), what is a good affordable option that you have verified to work (EG. You know for a fact it works because you own it)?

Changing a setting in Nintendont will only save when you start a game. If you just exit it will not save any setting you change.Nintendont itself. I actually can't get a game to launch from USBLGX using Nintendont because the Auto Boot setting won't stay toggled.

Changing a setting in Nintendont will have no effect when when launching Nintendont from an external loader. Nintendont will use every setting as it is told to by the external loader.
Is it safe to change the iso ID in hex? If so that would save a lot of trouble not only here but for the N64 injects!the folder name in the ID is DPCE01 which is different from the one in the iso!
this is custom stuff you can either edit the iso in hex and change the ID from "OO.E01" to "DPCE01" if this doesn't work change it to "D49E01" and it should work in my mod
Yeah i do it all the time. Then i use the new id to create a title.txt entryIs it safe to change the iso ID in hex? If so that would save a lot of trouble not only here but for the N64 injects!
Okay, so then I need to use the Nintendont settings in USBLGX. Am I mistaken in thinking that having Auto Boot turned on allows the desired game to load without having to select it again a second time in Nintendont itself?
I can try thatYeah i do it all the time. Then i use the new id to create a title.txt entry
I recommend ids starting with d4 for the injects too
