Sorta thinking about importing an Australian new 3ds for gateway use since we did not get the smaller version here in NA...my luck, as soon as I receive the import, Nintendo will announce the smaller version.

Maybe around Christmas time...

I preordered my limited edition Majora's Mask New 3DS XL. Pain in the butt but I got it done.

Firmware... It will probably be higher than 9.2 unfortunately. So I will keep my 3DS XL and my New 3DS XL until gateway supports the new 3ds and whatever firmware it has.

I buy one new3ds no matters the firm, if gateway no support the firmware, I buy an sky3ds and keep my console firm 4.5, but seems like the new 3ds with gateway, will no have all functionality of a regular 3ds.

i bought 3 majoras mask limited edition 3ds. i hope it comes with lower firmware. if not, i'll simply sell it to a CAG (cheapassgamer) or someone here or simply return all 3.

Well, I can't wait to show off my JP regular New 3DS when I go back to the states next week.

But seriously, this was a really dumb decision to not sell the regular N3DS.

honestly, if gateway's mii maker exploit has not been addressed in 9.4, then they should (and most likely will) wait until n3ds is released in america before releasing it.

From a "certain leak", it was said that they didn't do so because they had a shortage, but we all know that's most probably not the case, or is it?

Anyhow, if you look at it from a certain perspective, quite a number of people would prefer to buy the XL, so maybe that's why they did?

Besides, who isn't gonna play other region games from our own New 3DS with the upcoming gateway update? Well, aside for those who're not interested, I'm just hoping they'll release the US version of the regular size so that my classmates won't notice why I'm playing US games on a JPN console. -_-;

Nintendo explained why they aren't going to bring it over in an interview and their answer sucks.

I'll probably buy one. Since they aren't coming out with the Regular size one and just the XL, I'll probably bite for that. I have an imported Australian NN3DS Regular, and it's great; wouldn't mind the XL either..
