Yes. You can play with native gamepad instead of Wiimote. Mine will finish downloading in 2 mins and I will let you know

WRONG! Not on this game, only on games that supported the classic controller. And SMG2 did/does not support the classic controller. So you still have to use the Wiimote and nunchuck to play.

I don't know why SMG2 isn't compatible with Wii Classic Controller when SMG1 was. Nintendo being Nintendo, that's it.

Super Mario Galaxy is on sale at the moment for £8.99 (50% off) Is there any difference between the phyical copy and the newly released one currently on eshop?

You can sell/lend/trade the physical copy. The eshop one may be a bitch to get back if you replace your system at some point (broken, stolen, upgraded to a successor). Of course this is true of all physical vs download games.

ENOUGH! Stop with the bad information!

1) Galaxy 1 and 2 are NOT compatible with the classic controller

2) you can only use the Gamepad as a controller in Wii games that has classic controller support. This does NOT apply to playing that same game in vWii

3) You STILL need a Wii Remote and Nunchuck to play most Wii games

How much is it in US dollars? Edit found my answer: $9.99

The only difference is you can launch it from the Wii U menu and do not have to boot up vWii (or have a disc).

Punch Out!! is the only announced Wii game that supports the classic controller so far. Metroid Prime Trilogy is wiimote + nunchuck only like SMG2.

It's $10 as announced in the Nintendo Direct, all things considered, that's pretty damn cheap :P
