So I recently purchased a DSTwo and would like to transfer all my current Pokemon games to it for convenience.

Will someone kindly provide a link or resources for this process?

I've only found tutorials for the reverse, PC rom to cart.

Hi Riloluwott,

I am interested in transferring my Pokemon from my Pokemon White 2 NDS cart to my Pokemon White 2 ROM.

you need to use this http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php and follow the instructions
if u want to use demume you can use your save file directly but you have to load the save file in tools or something i dont remember because i dont use ds emulators anymore i have a R4 and that works

Edit: I remember its File/Load state from and load the save file from the dstwo tell me it if it works

I heard there's a way to trick the game into connecting to a WiFi server that will intercept the files during transfer between NDS's?

The main wifi fiddling stuff there would have been for the 3ds games -- the 3ds was not publicly hacked at this point so such things got played with

Anyway pokemon can need something other than the normal dumping tools -- the pokewalker sat on the save bus (which is actually just a common electronics communication method) unlike every other game out there and that needed an extra tool, some hardware or a hardware tweak of the original cart.

also gonna install twilight menu in my r4 flashcard

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but why choose it over ysmenu @Psionic Roshambo?

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
