Chill Out,be Quiet and Never Asks of this Translations again, this Bothers the Translators

Thank you. (I'm not upset or angry or anything; I just want some understanding)

Also, the older translations from before I started working on this need some love. There are some really rough spots in there that need fixing. There are a few hundred entries so far that seemed suspicious to me and/or need some rewording. Some of it might be all right in context but in any case there is still work to do on that front. I can't say "Story 100% Complete" because if you mean "ready to test", I wouldn't quite say that yet. The best I can say is "100% of all Story and non-story elements now have data in the English fields"

Other than that, I see that the text insertion process is a semi-manual one so that means it will take some time to put it all in the game anyway, but once that is done then in theory it shouldn't take too long to update just a few parts at a time as we need to. Again, I'm more concerned about the story translation at this point, and fixing it up as I get time. This past week has been a bit hectic.

I'm still chugging away. It's going to take longer than I thought but it's getting there. There are really rough parts in the old translations like:

"I'll predict something for you.
Your luck is until here!
If not, I won't forgive you!"

and

"that's too impossible for me♪
I don't want to do it either in the first place.
Also, I only slips into here just because I wanted to see the battles."

After frying my pour brane looking through it for a while, I'm bound to miss a few subtle lines until I look at them later like:

"[Player Name] is really awesome as I thought!"

There are things I don't quite understand story-wise yet like the purpose of the Digivice and how some of the speech will come off in-game because it is written taking into consideration all the different ways you can reach a few of the key situations in the game, but yeah...slowly but surely? (Edit> Memo to self: Rewrite the parts referring to the Selectors and Erasers) I'm not implying I'm some kind of wizard or I'm standing on a pedestal or anything but there are quite a few areas that need to be fixed up before any sane person would consider it ready to test. The very first parts of the story look okay but if anything after that was already inserted into the game it may very well need to be corrected and reinserted. That is unless you want something like "The Digiship is full of shitment" in the game.

Done, the first page is updated with data. Next update - I hope - will be the beta patch.
Nice...

"Just looking at you who stepped it up makes me feel like cry a river."

^Yes, that is an actual line from the Story file I found/need to fix.

I don't mean to dump on past efforts or anything, but geez, we can't leave it like this and put it in the game. Or maybe we can keep this and generate a "Machine translated" version separately as a joke. Anyone here ever play the Vietnamese Pokemon Crystal?

Lol. It doesn't make any sense. Needs a lot of fixes and patches! I played pokemon crystal, but only the English version.

I know this topic is not the reason of your existence and this is just extra work and sometimes you just doesn't feel like even turning the computer on because of the daily stress and stuff.
But should be good to keep people who aren't here daily to chat or to learn, or to ask about the patch, or to complain about the people who ask about the patch, or even to complain about people complaining about people asking about the patch (ad infinitum) post every once in a while some progress in the main post, i bet some people just enter here, see the first page, doesn't see any changes than ask about the progress and about the patch.
Just one idea =3

Okay, Next milestone reached.

I checked through the entire Story (and non-story) file and fixed up the most glaring grammatical errors and spelling errors/punctuation, but there may still be more lingering in there. In short, I'm OK with the file being used to generate a playable Alpha version at this stage. The rest of the proofreading can be more easily done when this is viewed in-game, I think. I would prefer a closed alpha test version for now but that is up to Yugix & Co. I suppose. If anything I would like to wait until we have a few people go through at least a good chunk of the game and confirm it is OK and working before making a public beta, mostly because the Alpha version is still likely to look a bit rough around the edges.

I'm not positive on some elements of the story and characters, not being the biggest Digimon fan or anything. (Rather, I don't know so much about it) Also, I don't quite understand the "Digivice" or just who Hiroyuki is or the relationship between the Selectors, Erasers, Bandits, Numemon and what the heck they hope to achieve by doing what they are doing in the DigiColluseum, but the text should at least be readable and (hopefully) comprehensible.

There will probably be more changes once we see it in-game (probably quite a few) but I thought this was significant progress, anyway.
