My friends and I are discussing on which game would be a better party game between these two titles. I have yet to play them so i can't really judge to say one is better than the other. My friend had seen video reviews and they determine that rayman is better for multiplayer providing many games that are interactive and decent to paly, as which monkeyball is more of a single player game and has only like 5-10 addictive multiplayer games. Any1 care to discuss on this topic from hands on experience??

Tough choice..they're both pretty fantastic for different reasons, but if I absolutely had to give one title the edge, it would be Rayman. There's more for multiplayer, and it's so weird it's hard to find anyone who won't enjoy it.

Rayman is by far the better party game. At my Wii party we had a few days after the launch, my Rayman got more hours than any other game.

I returned Monkey Ball because it was so bad. The mini games are stripped down from their former glory.

Monkey Target (my favorite monkey ball game) was taken from a game with multiple stages, multiple power-ups, a ramp you used to gain speed, and turned into a game where you're shot out of a cannon onto the same stage every time, with nothing but bananas and a new "option ball." The option ball is neat, if it was implemented into the past monkey ball games.

The same goes for the rest of the mini games as well. They're waaaaaay too basic. There might be a few that you like, but after playing several of them, my friends were just done with the game.

I couldn't agree more about monkey target. My friend and I love that game.

I don't see why they messed with the formula. I do think the option balls are nice, but not at the expense of variety and power-ups. I would gladly trade 5 of those crappy mini-games for some monkey targetness.

Monkeyball is a worth a rent, but it's honestly just not good enough to buy at full retail price.

I returned Rayman because I didn't like the single player. Hilarious game, but only fun multiplayer. It's the opposite for Monkey Ball. You have to play Single Player for that game.
