Why so many people bringing Gateway to this Thread? Its like theyre afraid or see Sky3DS as a Threat to their beloved Gateway.
Because Gateway is much better : cheaper, no limit game restrictions, homebrew, region unlock...
Thats your Opinion sir. This is a Thread about Sky3DS. And IF its real its better than Gateway cuz can be used on the Latest FW and on the N3DS. Dont have to risk to Brick my 3DS.

some goes for the feature list, until those features aren't confirmed to be real
tbh its only natural people would compare a new product to the nearest comparative already existing one, its like saying "yay there is a new car but don't mention that it can only ever drive the same 10 mile route even though other cars don't have that restriction"
yeah the new car might run on easier and cheaper to find electricity, but if you have to buy a new one every time you want to change routes it would still be better to buy a old car

GW has better features. Sky3DS has better FW support. Which one is more important is subjective.

Holy hell, $120? I guess it's worth it for the people with 3DS consoles that came with >4.5 firmware, but if you've waited this long to hack your 3DS, you probably already have all the games you want to play in retail cartridge form. And if not, that $120 would probably cover all those games.
Oh well, I'll stick with my 4.5 3DS and Gateway. For the time being, I've got absolutely everything I need. Maybe I'll grab a (used) new 3DS and whatever cheap cart/exploit is available at the end of this portable's life cycle. They're bound to be like $60 for the console and $20 for the cart at that point anyway.

Better FW Support of course. The others Im sure will be added later. And I bet someone even can come up with a solution for the 10 Games limit. But thats what we needed better FW support so now Gateway can copy it.

You can't say better firmware support is the priority for everyone. I'll take my 4.5 3DS with $50 flash cart over the 9.0 3DS with $120 flash cart any day of the week, thank you. Ultimately, we'll probably have custom firmware solutions for free, so the more money you save on it now, the better.
the only people i would say this is better for is(in my opinion im sure someone will want to disagree)
A)people with a 9.x console who are very picky with their games
B)people with a very strong attachment to their current console
C) people who live somewhere where it would be impossible to buy a 4.x console but for some reason can buy a flashcard off the internet
D) people who want/have a new 3ds or only want a 2ds

The 3ds is a gift for my son's birthday 15 november, so a system format is no problem, there is nothing we have to keep on it, I bought it second hand. So I'm going to do that thank you for all the help.

The point you made is amazing and many people don't realize it. There are countless arguments especially on gaming websites where people are arguing over subjective matters. With subjective matter, it depends on which perspective you are looking at (yours, mines, a third party??). When people don't realize this, is just becomes a contest on who can shout louder.
For me only this reason is relevant, all others not that much ( who on Earth can love that brick called 2ds).
Anyway, clones of sky3ds are to be expected, which will definitely happen next year. This is step a ahead, and makes people planing to buy new3ds some day also.
