I am now wondering... I reread my topic linked from my signature, and the following question poped out my head: Is a cache file list now being obsolete? Nintendont has been slightly optimised, has autocaching feature, AND huge speed up done... Is it still worth to have a cache read code from nintendont? I am pretty sure nobody even uses all the cache.txt made since past 3 month... So my question (feature request?): Could the code to load a cache.txt be removed now? I actually think it is no more needed since a while already.

I only remember one time in which the cache file was needed to run F-Zero GX.
Is it still needed to boot it or you can boot it up without it now?

Also, here is the Button Swap MOD for Nintendont r2.155:

Shouln't be 2.155? Thanks for your mod :)

As for F-Zero GX, I own the game, tested it since past revisions, (since 1.80) And I never used a cache.txt anymore since 1.108 (I think) The game works flawlessly with the latest version too.

LOL haha yeah, sorry.
r2.155 MOD, I didn't see Howard's update.

Well it seems that the caches are no longer necessary, but I say wait for a dev word to certify such thing.

VinsCool, one question.
Can you open the link for the MOD?
I am getting an error message but the link is the one DropBox is providing me for sharing.

That's why I posted my question here :P I now feel sorry for every one (including myself) attempting to do cache.txt and losing a huge amount of time staying in front of dolphin debugger :rofl2:

Edit: ShadowOne333 I have a 404 error with your link.

Quick compatibility report: All my (small) gamecube library works perfectly with nintendont 2.155 :) All being played with a classic controller :P
Funny thing, I attempted to play Burnout, the game gave me a message saying no controller detected. I first though the game didn't work, until I unplug and replug my CC :D Few, that was close !

Note to USB loaders users: I think a new argument must be implemented in loaders accoreding to the new controller method. Every time I try to load a game with USB Loader GX, I have the message "please connect your cable on the rear bottom port" It attempts to read an HID controller obviously.

I think the message is given because tha USB loaders (USB, CFG, Wiiflow) have not been updated with the latests revs that include Audio Streaming and Bluetooth controllers.

Can you make a build that has CC rumble enabled? Remove line 446: https://code.google.com/p/nintendon-t/source/browse/trunk/kernel/BT.c#446

another request: could the rumble mod be separated to the swapped buttons mod please? I kind of like the current mapping.
Thank you ! :yaywii:

Audio streaming unaffected the USB loaders, Actually, Abz already made it to wiiflow by diseabling the hid in arg values. So it might be easy to port to other loaders.

Will we ever be able to custom map the controls for a specific game? The literal "A->A" and so on mapping for the classic controller works for most cases, but Metroid Prime is not possible unless you "claw" the controller since you need to hold A and press Y at the same time.

not now. We can do it by ourselves by modifing PadReadGC.c and changing buttons values, like ShadowOne333 did.

I hope the devs can please look into getting more then 250 GC games working on a single hdd, would make testing go a lot faster so i can go through the wiki and document them.

I think this define the maximum games diplayed: "char buf[0x100];" in menu.c line 94. Am I wrong? Will changing it to a higher value work? eg: to 1024 (0x400)?

What is the latest version of wiiflow I should be using to play Nintendont games from my hdd (on Wii U) with bluetooth controllers? I've seen lots of different wiiflow links in recent pages, and frankly I'm not sure which one I should even be using anymore.
