Even though you had a legit Jirachi, it's now legal. You used a third-party device to obtain the Pokemon you want. In this case you changed the IVs using Cyber Gadget. Legit is everything done in-game.

I spent 3.5 days soft-resetting for a 5IV Jolly Yveltal; Best I got was 31/31/31/x/30/31.

To clarify, if you soft reset for a legendary, does that mean you have to catch it, check it, and then start over again? How many would you say you get through in an hour?

Yes. The one you have is likely mine and I might be even the one who traded with you. I made a massive giveaway on a Facebook group a while go, and many people help me spread it lol. It's a small world indeed! I will do another giveaway when the Surfing Pikachu event comes here on 9th!

If you read my earlier post, I said that I edited my event through Cyber gadget.. My Jirachi is a legit Jirachi event, though I edited it through Cyber gadget to have perfect IVs coz I don't want to reset.

So what category my Jirachi falls then? It's a legit event with edited IVs.. Semi legit? Ex-legit? Half legal half legit? LOL

Back on Powersaves.. Does anyone having trouble connecting? I am having server errors..

it falls in the LEGAL category the moment we use a 3rd party device to modify it at all and stays there so long as it passes trade checks when it does not it becomes ILLEGAL ;) if you do NO MODIFICATIONS OUTSIDE THE GAME ITSELF AND OBTAIN IT FROM A PROPER EVENT IT IS LEGIT

Yes, That is what people are saying and I don't disagree.. I also understand you K1RO, I did reset for Diancie and I got a 5IV one but neutral nature... It's really mostly luck getting perfect IVs and nature, so I didn't think twice editing my events.. I still got the original though, for remembering the 1-2hour train ride just to get to the Pokemon Centers, watching The Diancie movie when I am the only adult in the theatre, and that Jirachi took me 3 hours to get to Tohoku center.. Very far from my pace! >_<

Never kept tracked really, I usually soft reset when the TV show I'm watching is on a commercial break.

Completely agree with this. When i get a Legit event i put it in the bank then clone it so that i can have an original without any of its data modified as well as one i can edit. In this way you keep the inegrety of your legit and can still edit it as a legal as well.

I waited like 2 months for this to get to my home (not able to buy in Brazil, only by ebay/amazon) and i cant make this work. First problem with the region and now Web Operation Failed. After some research i found out this is a common issue and many ppl probably will never make this work. Feeling robbed -.-

Anyone have a Mac and a powersaves and care to try something?
I KNOW THE POWER SAVE HAS NO MAC SUPPORT BUT I HAVE A WAY TO MAKE THAT A NON ISSUE I FEEL YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF, NO PROMISES HERE BUT IT LOOKS TO BE A SOLUTION ALL BE IT A CRUDE 1
BOOTCAMP ALLOWS YOU TO RUN WINDOWS 7 OS ON A MAC THIS MEANS YOU CAN USE THE WINDOWS VERSION OF POWER SAVES SOFTWARE ON A MAC BY USING BOOTCAMP TO SWITCH OS'S

I understand this is not as ideal as datel actually supporting mac os and releasing a compatible version but it may be useful to those with ONLY a mac and no windows OS's that want to use POWER SAVES as it allows win 7 to run on your mac therebye making it possible to install power saves software on your mac.;) and who wants to buy a new pc with windows just to run a program like power saves software right? so this may be a nice alternative for all that then again you do need to * obtain* a legal windows 7 product key to do the install keep in mind.

yo ho ho and a bottle of rum lol.
I would really appreciate it if someone could put my theory to the test but i would bet this is a way mac users can actually use the power save device software. Best of luck let us know if this works for anyone thanks.

We have actually known about this a very long time. You can also do the same thing while using Parallels.

People gripe about both methods because it necessitates needing a copy of Windows instead of using something like Wine (which I am unaware of ever working.)

No problem. I was kind of the Mac support guy for awhile here when the device first launched. That is why I know that everybody bellyaches usually when you tell them this because of needing a copy of Windows!

Just know that if you are asked, "Can I run this with Wine?", I'm not aware of a single person to get the Powersaves to work with it. It's BootCamp/Parallels or nothing that I'm aware of.

While this is not 100% Powersaves related, just so you guys know (since most of you are Pokemon players), The Pokemon Vivillon event is now live for distribution for US players (and I'm assuming the rest of NA) to celebrate the opening of the online Pokemon Center here.

http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-news/poke-ball-pattern-vivillon-takes-flight/

It was a relatively quiet announcement, so I just wanted to put that out there since some may like to have the real deal instead of the Powersaves injected one.

Hurry though because it ends on the 12th of this month.

nice thanks for the heads up MGS :)

also for those who want to, on the topic of vivillon.

You can put ANY cherrish ball event vivillons (the ones that came out previous to this) put it in a regular pokeball with the POKEBALL CHANGE CODE and they WILL go over wifi. (THIS NEW EVENT OT: SUM2014 COMES IN REGULAR POKEBALL ALREADY UNLIKE PARIS EVENT) the old 1 traded via wondertrade and GTS TRADE if you remove that cherish ball and put it in a pokeball so you can do this if you wanted to.

Secondly you can run the FORM CHANGE CODE on ANY CHERISH BALL version 20 times (well 19 there are 20 forms) and youll have 20 different cherish ball event vivillon that will likewise trade just like the regular event does :)

So to make the most of your legit event after you have banked the original make some clones to edit for these methods to make more of your event mon! :)

Can you run the same bank on two consoles? IE if somebody has cyber save editor and a japanese console, to move all the pokemon across to your local game with ease? Or is it a matter of sitting there and transferring them... one by one?
