You guys talk like you're receiving some credits from Gateway... Get rid of this super fan bullshit! Everyone made fun of people who bought R4i Deluxe... It's a cheaper choice and, apparently, they surprised us.

I don't understand how you can be so happy that R4i cloned the Gateway multirom.

This is only going to anger Gateway and will force them to:
1. Add more traps into the code to prevent clones from copying
2. Slow GW down more because instead of adding useful features they will have to add more anti-clone protection
3. Consider stopping putting effort into new features as they will get cloned anyway

You mentioned that the clones should not have too much trouble copying the 7.x/8.x keys from Gateway once Gateway releases the new firmware.
So you're admitting that these clones are putting in no effort and just cloning Gateway.
Have you considered that if Gateway quits because their code and IP is always being stolen then your clone is gonna die off too?

I'm all for competition but if only one side is innovating then when that side stops it brings innovation into a grinding halt.

With that said, you should support the true innovators and get a Gateway instead.

YEAA ! I'm going to pay big amount of money to people who act like that. Really logical. They'll always have their puppy dogs that buy their flashcard and tbh , wasn't gateway the bestest because clons clone their features month later ? then all is said

Some really feel superior and need to bash on clones just because we dont have the same cards as you do. Get off your high horse and stick to Gateway threads. How about we accept each others choices. We dont whine in your threads you dont bitch in ours.

Bitching about how we dont support innovators, stick that support in your *** if you really have morale you go buy the game and dont pirate it hypocrite. Im not dependent on my 3DS for games i can wait a few months for features. Have dozens of backlog games on pc and ps3 so I can wait.

The arguments in this thread (Most of which I can't see) are stupid, stick with your own opinion and don't be bothered by other's.

I would never consider a gateway given that they purposely included bricking code.

Gateway users also said multirom was impossible and required an FPGA update, yet here we are...

Now they're moaning in yet another rare R4 thread about something else that's impossible, surprise surprise...

How about sticking to Gateway threads since you're just making baseless assumptions about users and clone cards?

The hammer hits the head.

I'm in the same boat as you, kinda.

Can you explain more about it :o ?

Gw 2.0b2 had a brick code that was time based, it happened about 2-3 weeks after release (around jan 15th)
r4 which casually grabbed and got the update running without really checking anything besides changing wherever it said gateway to r4 and relased it
Who is to say its not the same thing here?

I think this version is not GW 2.0B2 based, is GW 1.0 with firmware patch changes.

there's 1 easy way to test it tho. Load bravely default with the villagers saves that is uploaded that is a 2.0 save. if the save gets deleted it really is a 1.0 , at least lower than 2.0 . If it doesn't get deleted it's a 2.0
