Homebrew Flipnote Hatena server for DSi by pbsds

Mind if I make a Java version? Just for the networking practice, and figuring out the protocols that are left.

It should work, but i haven't tested it as i don't have access to one. i'm guessing some language files are missing.

This may be a bit too late to reply but simply creating a folder called "jp" in /hatenadir/ds/v2-xx/ and adding the confirm folder and eula.txt solves the issue, you were totally right

I've got the same problem. I set the proxy server at Connection 4, connection test is succesful, but when I try to connect to Hatena, I get only discontinuation message.

If you are having issues connecting to the Hatena, the new one, try to delete ALL other connection settings.

If you have other used connections in slots 1-6, the DS will try to connect to them, and if it does, it will not find the new server.

I am not the developer, but by the 6 months and no commits on the GitHub repo, I would consider it a non-active project.

Being written in python, does make it easier for someone else to pick up, as python is an easer language to learn. Also development may have ceased due to not enough captured packets to emulate 100% of the protocol.

Got a message from amazon saying my free tier is expanding. So I'm currently moving the server to my home server, and holy smokes! 363MB worth of flipnotes from 355 different creators in a year!
My server exists mainly to keep the source code and documentation out there. But if you're looking for a larger community and better kept servers, try checking out some of the other services using my server setup, or Sudomemo running on Hatenatools.

Hey I Heard You Need Someone To Host Your Server. I Might Be Able To Help
I Have 32Mbps Down and 6Mbps Up.

Also When I Try To Run Server.py It Opens And Then Closes Immediately,
Any Help?

any details on how you launch the server? try to launch it from the console rather than double clicking.

The current server is on a 20/5 connection, and might have plans to move it to a VPS a friend of mine have
But you're more than welcome to set up your own, if you'd like!

Seems I Have Another Problem I Can Connect To My Server On My Dsi Through My Network
Although Other People Cannot Connect Infact They Arnt Even Contacting The Server
I Have Internet (Obliously) And My Router Is Port Forwarded

Any Ideas?
