I'm not going to say a bad thing about TriForce. These guys have been at the forefront of hacking and cracking for a long long time now. I'd say around 20 or so years. They've been cracking games etc. for longer than most people here have been alive I'd bet.
However, I don't believe they did it "because they could". I'd say they were paid to crack it. How many sales of the DS-X is this going to generate ? It's the most hyped and probably the most well known Slot 1 cart to date, which means it has the most to benefit from it.
Why the Supercard and the M3 ? I don't know... Maybe that's what they had floating around

this release wont work with ds link and supercard because when you turn on power holding select ds link does not show up in the slot 1 box it just says there is no ds card inserted and if you try to put the supercard in after ds link is booted if just resets the system and boots supercard

Maybe if you tried downloading the Opera DS Browser hack from the first post, you'd realize that bspatch is in there
already and those two pointless posts you made wouldn't have been necessary
i dont think they can hack it to only use with slot2.
you have to load the browser and then the browser also uses slot2 so it will overwrite its own ram.
anyway i just bought the damn browser for 37 euro including shipping costs.
now i wont have to buy a ds-x or other slot1 solution and still can use the browser

It doesn't have an executable only files recognized as a 'C file' and a '1 file' both of which just open as a text file when i run the command via the command line. Do they need compiling?
Yes it will.. I'm using it right now with DS Link. For some reason, however, I can't get it to work with supercard SD or Supercard Lite, for the abovementioned reason.
When I use Supercard MiniSD, it works flawlessly with my DSLink.
Its a little convoluted but you could possibly run a MK4-mini dump from the supercard menu to start DSLink... you'd probably have to know how to dump it and have it to dump, or crypt the old dump of it though. Or even find a way to package the DSLink menu into a .nds homebrew type file to run from SC's menu.
... I'm glad there are more creative people out there than even myself making patches like these, or we'd all be lost ...
so this won't work with a superkey and supercard lite? i just tried and getting a white screen.

There is really no point in messing with something that doesn't even work, and the wii will be out in about a weeks time. This nds browser will be long forgotten by then, so if people really want a ds browser that badly just wait for one of the homebrew browsers to get completed. Since homebrew programs are made from the ground up it automatically guarantees it will be a hell alot better than this thing, and best of all it will be free.
Well the DS Browser is for browsing the internet when you're not home and the opposite is said for the Wii and then again, you'd probably be surfing on your PC anyways if you are at home..
