One other issue that I discovered yesterday when I was testing some of the FBA games that use retroarch, is that when you select some games in WiiFlow to play, it will code dump; however, if you select a game in WiiFlow that doesn't code dump and then change over to the other game using the retroarch menu, it will play and not dump. I've only notice this happen with 1943 and Trojan so far.

So for example, starting 1943 from WiiFlow, code dumps. Starting another game that works, and then switching to 1943 within retroarch is fine.

I'm using the most recent fba dol plugin from Abz pack which I also noticed doesn't have the RGUI like the other CPS, NEO cores and such. I can only assume this is to help with memory resources?

So I resolved this issue, by grabbing the most recent copy of the FBA core dol from the main retroarch site (http://www.libretro.com/index.php/downloads/). I just replaced it with the other one that I grabbed from Abz pack. Now the games that were crashing before aren't crashing anymore and it has the RGUI menu. It also resolved an issue with 1942 where the directional controls didn't work. I'm not sure why Abz has the older version in his pack, but if there is a good reason, I would love to know. Maybe it has higher compatibility with more games?

Ok so I grabbed Abz emunand, added the wiiware/vc games to it, copied the sneek folders from Abz pack to the SD and USB drives, copied the Shared2 folder from the NAND into the emunand, etc. This worked and I was able to select Neek2o Mode within the game settings.

There was one issue that I had where the Wii would start up in Neek2o mode which caused issues because the Wii wouldn't boot up with the SD card inserted. If I took the SD card out, turn on the Wii, and then put the SD card back in, WiiFlow started up fine. Except it started up in Neek2o mode which I didn't want (plus I didn't want to have to pull the SD card before starting the Wii each time). The way I fixed it was by swapping out the current bootmii file in the bootmii folder on the root of my SD card with the one found here: https://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/downloads/detail?name=Bootmii-Forwader-Loader-DWFA.zip&can=2&q=
I also configured Priiloader to boot from the System Menu instead of WiiFlow, since Bootmii is taking care of loading WiiFlow now. Now WiiFlow starts up using the Real NAND. Kudos to MassiveRican for pointing me in the right direction on this one.

There is one last issue that I'm facing. When I go to configure the Exit To: options, I don't have an option for Real NAND. I can manually exit to Real NAND by pressing the home button and choose to exit from there, but I don't have the option to directly exit to Real NAND under the settings. Any thoughts regarding that would be welcome.

I'm starting to think that I completely misunderstood the "Exit To Real NAND" thing. Is it even possible to set this in the "Exit to:" settings or do you always have to exit using the home menu?

You can hit home twice to exit. In general settings the exit to option controls what hitting home twice exits to.

Exit to real NAND will only appear in the exit to home menu when in neek2o environment.

Ok got it. I guess somehow I misread this as a possible option. Thanks for all the help though man.

Hello,
Wiiflow is always crashing after having selected the partition. Everything is working fine with cfg or usbloader gx.
I have something very weird, when i run it for the first time, the theme is messed up, no buttons are drawn and there is a big hand cursor in the center of the screen.

Here is wiiflow.log when it crashes:

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this little problem....

I have Wiiflow r1074 and have setup my Gamecube games with DiosMios.....all games tested so far are loading fine but am having trouble with JP & PAL games

My Wii has its settings for screen to Standard TV 480i and when i try to load PAL games i get either Black n White screen,Screen flickering or No video only audio......i have tried changing the Wiiflow settings to display Video to NTSC 480i and also individual GC game settings but cant get either PAL or JP games to display properly

I remember a while when i first started testing DiosMios some loaded fine

Example : Ikaruga PAL - Flickering Display & Black n White Display
Doshin the Giant - Only audio no Display & Flickering Display
Mario Kart DD - No display
Dream TV Mix Fighters - No Display

I went ahead and dug out my US copy of Ikaruga,Ripped it and loaded it thru Wiiflow+DiosMios and it plays fine

THX in advance :yaywii:

Question: I want to see all my games in WiiFlow (Wii/GC/EmuNand) on a single list. Can this be done? I currently have my source menu setup for accessing each type of game separately, but I want to skip the menu and go straight to all my games. I'm currently on 4.2.1, in case I need to upgrade my WiiFlow setup.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just enabled multisource and disabled bootup to source menu and now WiiFlow boots to the full game list. I have another question though: is there any way to define a custom sort order? Right now, Zelda TWW is in between SS and TW, MM is before OoT, so could I, with an external file, define the order in which the games are listed?

Hi. Delete wiiflow.ini , use wiiflow startup configurator and try to load wiiflow from 249
use latest version. U can delete the wiiflow save on wii nand (like other game save) via system menu

decided to play with plugins today, crashing hard core on r1075.

I got FCEUGX to load once i deleted the settings for it, but any other attempts fail. GenplusGX code dumps with any roms i throw at it.

Snes9xgx loaded on first try but then froze not even code dumped.
vbagx has the same behavior.

These two try to save the 2nd time i load them, the options are all screwed up, instead of saying back to wiiflow, it says back to. Im using the latest plugins from abz pack, i copied them fresh to the plugins folder and its the same effect.

weird behavior from plugins.

edit: fix94 replied to my post in the nintendont thread, seems like copying the bins folder was the issue! thanks FIX94

maybe not for plugins...still crashing. oooooorrrr NAWWWWW. deleted the settings for fceugx and all working again. still going to test other plugins but i think that did it.

What have you actually tried regarding video modes in the individual GC settings? I've not got access to my Wii at the moment but I'm pretty sure there's a Force Video mode - try using that to force a NTSC 480i output (displaying video in the Wiiflow settings as that won't work by itself)

I suppose you could by renaming the game titles like you can with MAME-style games, but as the only mode is alphabetical your renamed titles would have to be a bit funky . Personally I wouldn't bother, but that seems your only option...

I tried but it still the same.
I also tried to delete the wiiflow folder on the root of the sd and it is the same.
I can't explain why the default theme is corrupted, I can see that wiiflow can read the sd card.

In the end I just put numbers in brackets before the game title with custom_titles.ini. Not the cleanest solution, but it works.

I believe i have tried both NTSC 480i and 480p but its only Video Mode not "Force Video Mode".......i tried on USB Loader GX and that has the option and loads the PAL games fine with color and all but im trying to get these going on Wiiflow.......im on Rev 1074 with Abz's Masterpiece Pack

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me? My Wii is originally Japanese, it has since been converted to the UK version and is running 4.3U (updated today). I did the region/language switch several years ago so I'm not sure of the machines exact status/config - which I realise is not very helpful...

Anyway, I want to start using my Wii again so followed this tutorial through:

This got me ModMii, Homebrew Channel and WiiFlow.

I've got a NTSC wbfs backup of Mario Kart, I have it loaded in WiiFlow and have downloaded the cover art but I can't get it to play. Whenever I click "play" I get the Wiiflow logo for a second or so, then I am bounced back to the game selection menu (where the play button is).

I've tried every combination of settings options that I think could be relevant, but I still can't get it to work.

I googling similar issues I've seen epope suggesting chancing the IOS setting. I have no idea whether this is the problem, but I have less options on this section than others. Currently auto/249 56 d2 x v7 final/250 57 d2x v7 final.

Can anyone advise where I might be going wrong? Many thanks.
