Hacking Need some info about psp

Hey people

Im sorry in advance if i put this topic in the wrong section and that im asking questions that you probably heard a million times but i need some help.

Im looking to get a psp. I know there are many versions and revisions and types of hacks im just a bit lost in all the info btw i did read the stickies.
What would be the best psp to get 1000 2000 3000? i dont want the go or the no wifi model.
i wanna hack it fully with perma hack and if possible have all the hacks possible.
What fw version do i need to watch for i saw that all are hacked but some not fully i just want to know what minimum and maximum fw version does it need to be to be fully hackable.
Does it matter what number is at the end of the psp model like 1004 and others?
And lastly are there any other things i need to watch out for?

i saw that the 1000 has just 32 ram. do i really need 64 ram? the way i see it the 2000 would be my best bet cause itl be cheaper than 3000 and bigger chances of getting a low fw version correct me if im wrong.
the thing is i wont be picking it up personaly so i need to tell that person the exact things that need to be there buying it second hand.
so basically i need to get a psp with the lowest fw version meaning below 6.20 to be sure it can be hacked?
if i decide for a 2000 what does it need to be to be sure it can be hacked cause im reading some can be and some cannot be hacked?

You need the 64MB RAM if you plan on using Homebrew that makes use of it (Go!Tube, enhanced Netfront Browser, some ports) and if you'd like faster loading times. In addition, the 2000 and the 3000 are simply lighter, thinner and more comfortable than the 1000.

All firmwares are hackable so there's no harm in picking a later model, however if you want it permanently hacked rather than having to use Fast Recovery, it's best to pick a 6.20 or lower so you won't have to fiddle with downgrading using Chronoswitch unless you'll be lucky enough to find a Data Code 8B or earlier system.

My go-to recommendation is a PSP-2000 with a Data Code 8B or lower as that's the last series that's Pandora Compatible in the extremely rare event that something goes sour and your system bricks, however if you won't be making any in-depth changes to the OFW, nothing of the sort should occur.

The only model I'd advise you to avoid is the PSP-Street AKA the E-1000 as it's stripped of WiFi, has mono sound and a generally poor build quality. Other than that, the world is your oyster, including PSP Go's if sliders are something you enjoy.

Someone correct if im wrong but i think that psp 2000 can be perma hacked except psp 2000 with TA 088v3 mobo!

That is correct - motherboards earlier than the v3 can be permahacked using the cIPL method, even on 6.60 OFW. Later revisions of the motherboard can also be permahacked using a different method, however that only works up to 6.20, which isn't a big deal as there were no significant improvements between 6.20, 6.39 and 6.60 other than Music Unlimited support. That being said, even if the PSP is on a v3 or older motherboard and 6.20+ firmware, it can still be reverted to a permahackable state using Chronoswitch, so it's really no biggie. Essentially all PSP's can be permahacked as of today.

gee thats guys this is amazing all that i needed to know so im looking for a psp 2000 with fw 6.20 or lower. what if the data code is higher than 8B will there be problems?
edit
so even if the fw is higher i can perma hack it if the mobo is old enough?
in worst case scenarion i get a psp 2000 with higher than 6.20 and a latest mobo what are my options then?

If your mind is set on the 2000, here's what you need to know:

If the Data Code (found in the battery compartment of the system, close to the serial number) is 8B or lower, the firmware it's running is completely irrelevant as all are permahackable using the cIPL method - go nuts.
If the Data Code is higher than 8B, you'll want a system running 6.20 or earlier if you want to save yourself some trouble with downgrading. If you can't find one like that, it's no biggie as all can be downgraded back to 6.20 if you're dead-set on a permahack.
All PSP's, regardless of firmware and revision, are hackable. The difference is that 6.20+ on newer motherboards requires you to use a special application called Fast Recovery which reboots the system into Custom Firmware mode. The operation takes a few seconds, but it bothers some users so they downgrade to 6.20. You don't have to downgrade, it's entirely optional.

Word of advice though - if the PSP-2000 you find will be over the 8B Data Code, you might as well grab a PSP-3000. It has better battery life, it's even slimmer, even lighter and it has a built-in microphone for all the applications and games that do use it. There's no point in investing in a v3 PSP-2000 when you can buy a v3 PSP-3000.
