Format SD card part is protected : Passwprd is "spayrosam", you can change it
(Settings => protect SD card => No (type "spayrosam" as password) then Yes (type your new password)

Is there such a tool that can simply read what FW update version is contained within a *.3ds roms update partition?
Would it be possible to integrate it and make this tool read the FW version within the rom, and possibly even add the option to remove the update partition as well to save space?

Thanks @0.9999. Thats a great tool and the drag and drop system is handy I hope this works with multirom because that would be an excellent way, its better using this than Win32 Diskmanager cause that seems to hang on me for a while before I can use it, this program does not. Thanks

Sorry to say I tried it this morning would not work for a start it would not recognize my MSD card also it would not recognize my Mario Kart 7 Euro rom. It worked the other day fine with Luigis Mansion 2 rom but now nothing

is there anyway you can make this application rename every rom in a specific way? say i download kirby and its rom name is bbb-p-balj and its id is 0675
have it auto rename to 3DS0675 - Kirby Triple Deluxe (J) and possibly do that with every game? i know thats not the point of this application but i have been looking for something that will do this...so that my rom library isnt just random letters and actually has a title

Thanks for the update but also I have a 8GB San disk micro sd card and I don't think it recognizes it. There is no letter coming up for the drive also just errors on Windows 8.1 and shuts down when you even try to format the card but there is no letter showing up in the small box so that is probably why its not recognizing any card and not formatting. Its a San Disc 8GB MSD Card. Mario Kart 7 does not work sometimes it does sometimes it does not you need to go back m8 test it 110% to make sure its got no bugs. I'm sure you will sort it though it will be a great tool in time

Used both Kingston and 2.0 Micro SD card reader it still will not recognize 8GB San-Disc also MK7 still not recognizing. I've deleted the program several times and downloaded again to make sure its not me but still no joy buddy.
Settings are no protection on card no load up on start up also over write yes. Are my settings wrong?

im also having the same problems as reece now except i never actually got to copy a file over to an sd card also does the rename only work when copying the file over? if its supposed to rename the original file in say...your rom folder on your pc its not renaming them? or atleast for me..ive tried many diffrent sd card readers

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
