Hacking 3DS R4SDHC DUAL-CORE 2013

Hey there :3 ! Been lurking in here for far too long i guess i should have asked earlier haha!

My girlfriend has a 3DS and a friend of hers bought her this flashcart as a gift but

She was dumb enough to update to the latest firmware without telling me about it -.-

Card is: 3DS R4SDHC DUAL-CORE 2013

Now my primary question is: Is there still a way to make it work even though the 3ds is on the latest officcial firmware?

Secondary question is: If i am to get a new flashcart can i use whatever micro sd card with it? Found some 64gb ones dirt cheap on ebay but i am not sure of the compatibility with flashcards.

Lastly: Do you have any flashcards to suggest ?

Chances are that there is no way to update it. However, I don't know that card, so I could be wrong. As for micro SD cards, all cards up to 32gb (SDHC) should work. 64gb & 128gb (SDXC) probably will not. But you really don't need to have that many DS games on it. As for a different card, I got a $5 gold r4 clone from eachmall for $4.70 shipped. It took two weeks to get to the US, but Greece is closer to china.

That said, the only "quality" card which will probably survive the longest is the supercard dsTWO, but that is pretty expensive.

I think that your card maybe perminatly blocked, the r4i sdhc dual core team has released the new 2014 version card already, check out http://www.thegamerdepot.com/r4i-sdhc-dual-core-flashcart-for-3ds-xl-3ds-dsi-and-ds-p-158.html means no update for 2013 version card any more.

i guess i ll just order a new one and see how it works out! just wanted to know whether i should get a microsd from ebay since on the local shops a 32gb sd card is worth 60 euros while on ebay there are some for 10$ lol! cheers and have a great weekend <3

Be careful with those cheap sdhc cards from eBay, most of them are hacked and in reality only 4-8GB in size. (they will corrupt your data as soon as you write more than the real capacity)

oh thats great tip!! thanks lol! should i just aim for branded ones then? still some branded ones are way cheaper than my local shop lol on ebay xD

Don't get memory from ebay, even the branded things can come out as fakes.
Get your memory from a real store. If it has to be online get it from a site that sells the stuff itself, not some reseller market like ebay or amazon.
