The story translation is going well big thanks to Kazari..

we're looking for a programmer that can help us!.

the text box can fit 32 character per line we can insert 2 line..
if he/she can extend it to 3 lines

You can just add a new page, that's what I've been doing. You just have to rebuild the string table, and the scene table.

I'm having a couple problems.

When I try to patch the iso, nothing happens.
A screen flashes past too fast for me to read then it goes to credits for the translators and quits out.

When I ran the game, I couldn't use the start button at all.

I've also been keeping my eye out on this game too since it was announced and been terribly sad that it hasn't been localized yet so I'm very thankful for all the work you guys are putting into this game. Just wanted to give my shout out and support to all the people working hard to translate these wonderful games!

How are you inserting the text? Like I said, you just need to rebuild the scene table at the start of the file.

I don't think it's 100% working, I sometimes ran into a few scene mis-matches, but it's pretty close I think. You can add as much you want per line and per page, it newlines and creates new pages when required. One of the most lacking features is a manual newline, but you could put that in if you want.

Anyway maybe it'll help as reference for fixing your tools.

Hello guys, i saw this greater project, and i interested in translate too in my idiom Portuguese Brazillian, i have a bloger with some translation project, i know about hex editor, pointers, romhacking Here and to begin this project i need inderstand two thing:


1º how repack the pbin? (extracted with Falo editor)
2º how edit the font to increase some special characters? (áéíóúçãêô...)
3º Can anyone PM me and send the text editor? or tool that repack pbin?

I'll grateful for reply ^^

I just tried to check how the datehacks forum was going and it looks like Alucard has had a hissy fit and closed it.

Is the project still going?
Will there be another place to check progress more directly instead of checking here?

personnel, followed the tuturial just right ..

But when I have the file

ID03693.afs2 = 31 Music Files
ID03840.afs2 = 10,000 Sound Effects / Voices

to unpack and put in quickbms it decompresses in "DAT" and not "NEO" as reported, what should I do to keep arquvo NEO not the DAT?

Sound and music files:
ID03693.afs2 = 31 Music Files
ID03840.afs2 = 10.000 Sound Effects/Voices
(use quickbms and the afs2 script to unpack, they are encoded with Atrac3Plus and you'll need the codec (search it on google)). Thanks to the user Falo for telling us about this! (and also thanks for having created an useful tool for the translation!!). After all that you'll get files with ".neo" extension. If you want to convert them to at3 or mp3 you should follow the great tutorial that the user omarrrio made
*PMF files are from ID03634-ID03691 (It's more convenient to order them by size; except the two on the top, from ID03693 up to ID3638 are the .pmf files). These kind of files can just be played with Media Player Classic, but they won't reproduce the sound (because the sound is in AT3 format). Here's a list of what correspond to each PMF file:

Yap It's been a while since I have contact with Compcom.. I don't have the tool that he use and the progress he has made.. so we can't update the patch

We are almost at 50% of the story at my estimate calculation..

After the story completed I'm gonna work on video editing, big thanks to Jamrules for helping me...

Yap It's been a while since I have contact with Compcom.. I don't have the tool that he use and the progress he has made.. so we can't update the patch

Well I already have a compiler/decompiler, so if you send me a single script I can see if I can modify my script to handle your format. I did sort of want to re-write the whole thing anyway, but I'm not really sure how long that'd take...
