Good day, GBATemp team.

This is my first post and I'm glad to bring a quick tutorial about how to setup Wiiflow along with Devolution, and also how to setup up multi-disc games and the memory card dump.

First things first.
1) You need a softmodded Wii U vWii (or Wii) with Homebrew Channel and the respective cIOS for the console.
2) A SD card.
3) Wiiflow app
4) Devolution app.

PART 1: ENABLING DEVOLUTION IN WIIFLOW.

I will start by assuming you have Wiiflow and Devolution working separately.
Just one quick reminder, if Devolution (alone) is not reading your GC isos, be sure they are in the "usb:/games" folder, and NOT under a sub-folder. I'll get deeper into this in a while.

Download the source package from this link:
http://www.tueidj.net/gc_devo_src.zip

After download, go into the "data" folder and copy the "loader.bin" file to the following location:
"sd:/wiiflow"
After this, load Wiiflow and go to Settings. Once there, change the GC loader from Auto MIOS to Devolution. After this change, the GC games icon along any games you had in the games folder of your HDD should appear right now.
Now you should be able to run your GC games from Wiiflow.

PART 2: MULTI-DISCS GAMECUBE GAMES IN DEVOLUTION.

Remember I mentioned putting the isos into the /games folder?
Now we are explaining this in detail.
You see, if you put the isos in sub folders, Devolution by itself will not recognize them and will throw an error.
Only if you put them in the usb:/games directory strictly, they will appear in Devolution, BUT if you have Devolution enabled in Wiiflow, any games put into subfolders will appear in the Wiiflow menu.

To make multi-disc games work, you must put the disc 1 iso in the games directory, leaving the disc 2 iso in a folder (i.e. Resident Evil folder with just the disc2.iso file, while the disc 1 iso or "game.iso" file is in usb:/games).

It doesn't matter if you rename the isos, Devolution will still detect them as long as they are in the right directory. Just be sure to leave all the disc2 isos untouched and each one inside a different folder, meaning that you should NOT rename any disc 2 iso or have two of them in the same folder (as one iso would replace the other due to name match).

Now that all the disc 1 isos are in the 'games' folder, start validating them as you would with any other Gamecube game, multi-disc games require only verification of the first disc, not both.

Don't forget to move back the disc 1 iso to the folder where disc 2 iso is before, since both isos need to be in the same folder to load properly.

Once verified, launch Wiiflow, both discs should appear now.
Now play all the way up to where a disc switch is asked, and when it does, you have two options to switch discs:
a) Press the eject button on the console.
b) Press Minus+D-Pad Up on the Wiimote.
Doing any of the two should change the game disc automatically.

But how do I get to the disc swap part of the game without saving?
This is where memory card emulation comes into play.

PART 3: MEMORY CARD EMULATION.

Download GCMM 1.4b from the following link:
http://code.google.com/p/gcmm/downloads/list
Download the latest revision (v1.4b) into your apps folder.

Insert your Gamecube memory card in slot A and run GCMM. Select SD by pressing A and now you want to perform a Raw Dump of the memcard. Press B+Minus to perform the dump.
Once done, a file will be created inside the folder "MCBACKUP" in the SD root with a file as .raw as its extension.
This is the file we want.

Copy this file to the following directory:
"usb:/apps/gc-devo"
Note that the directory is in the USB and NOT in the SD card if you are playing from a HDD.

To finish this, open Wiiflow once again and click on any GC game, go to its Settings and enable Devolution Memcard Emulation. That should do the trick!

THAT'S IT!
You're ready to enjoy your Gamecube games, being them multi-disc or not, with Widescreen options and Memcard emulation!

Any questions about any step, don't forget to ask.

NOTE: I made this tutorial from the Wii U Pad, so when I get the chance to use a PC, I'll update it properly :)

De nada, paisano!
Claro, compartelo, se supone que para eso es esta info :)

I have it on a FAT32, but I think it works for NTFS too. Try it out and don't forget to send feedback!

Ideally, you'd probably want to pick up an adapter for a gamecube controller, but DualShock 3 and Wii U Pro controllers are compatible as well. Wii U gamepads aren't compatible and probably won't be accessible in Wii mode for quite some time.

It seems there are only PS2 adapters for GameCube but not PS3 dualshock 3 adapters for Wii or GameCube.
The Wii U Pro controller has a PC USB adapter too but what i want is something wireless to play GameCube games on vWii. Any link is greatly appreciated xD

Right now I am using both a Classic Controller and a Classic Controller Pro, but I think Wii+Nunchuck is an option, also the Wii U Pro Controller, and as far as I know, that controller is WIreless (the USB thingy might be for charging it up), so you are free to try that one out.
For me, the Classic Controller Pro feels just good, but the only difference is that the Shoulder buttongs do not have that press detection, and the Classic Controller is just a digital input (0 or 1, pressed or not)

Your best bet might be the CCP or Wii U CP. :)

Do you need any adapter to use the Classic Controller or some additional configuration or is it automatic with Devolution?

Oh sorry, i didnt read correctly, so its just a matter of wiimote pairing.

Not at all, the CC or CCP are connected to the Wiimote and Devolution detects it automatically.

The controllers will connect wirelessly when using Devolution. You can pair a Wii U Pro controller just like you would a Wii Remote. You'll have to connect a DualShock 3 via USB first, but then you'll be able to pair it with the system.

Of course the controllers will only stay paired with the console while Devolution is running.

this method also requires to have the original disc for verification, right?

Yes, it still does, I recommend using the sole Devolution App first to do the verification process.
After the verification is done, you can go to Wiiflow and launch the game from there.

Do you have the 'gc-devo' folder from 'apps' copied to the Wiiflow folder?

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
