Just curious.

If I install Gateway-3DS exploit on my 3DS, is is possible to change it to a different exploit like 3DS Link, MT-Card, etc..
If so, how?
I've already installed Gateway menu on a 3DS even though I don't have the Gateway. I used a Supercard DSTWO.
So is it possible to switch them out?

they all use the same MSET exploit and name

you just have to change the Launcher.dat on the SD card

 That is just too easy :glare:

I'm use to the
Reboot while holding the L button for 3 seconds but wait for the second beep, then continue to hold L and press A and Select with your other hand.
:P But what ever, the easier the better eh?

So it is possible to have the multi rom function even though I am a Gateway user?
That I can answer with a NO. lol

I'm sure they restrict what card you can use on what Launcher.dat menu.
But what it does mean you and use EMUnand from Gateway and not have a gateway card.

But I could be wrong..... Seeing I don't even have a Gateway card.

I don't really care about any updates anyway xD
I am just happy that I can play Shingeki and Digimon on my 3DS xD

yes you can setup the EmuNAND and then use it later

No

the Launcher.dat is what applies patches temporary and also allows the card to work

Therefore, it's really impolite to make any speculation on it without knowing the whole structure of the design.
He has actually explained why it's not possible and it's an electronic design issue, it's not speculation, nor absurd conjectures as other random users have tried to do.

Yes if a user has nothing to do with GW he is speculating. That's common sense.

No, the point is that you are focusing in a simple commentary that I never mentioned in the post you quoted here. Basically, you are doing a bad job at ignoring facts.

would this be able to update a clones' fgpa??

http://gamedepot4u.com/r4i-gold-3ds-updater-p-363.html

given that its probably not possible via 3ds or ds.

Quote: "The R4i Gold 3DS Updater is enable you to update your R4i Gold 3DS card on a PC directly(no need a NDS console anymore)! "

Was that device made to update the DS flashcard? I'm asking because I'm not informed if this was made for the 3DS flashcard, and those brands of R4i are always confusing. Also, the quote suggests that this NDS flashcard was updatable with a DS, that means the device is strictly not needed and it has exactly the same configuration achievable with a regular DS; so if this is correct, then it won't work to reprogramme the 3DS flashcards of R4i.

I concur, that updater device does not provide support for the FPGA JTAG interface used by the various 3DS clone cards. Reprogramming the FPGA on the clone cards, we have seen, would require the removal of the case to access the programming contacts.
