I'll get Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem boxed but I'm either gonna get the free DL of StarFox or Pilotwings (as they seem light on content and something good just to keep on the 3DS for short plays).
Stay away from Pilotwings. I'm a very generous person when it comes to enjoying games and Pilotwings just annoyed me. It's more of a Mii minigame than actual pilotwings successor. It just feels so shallow, empty and funless. It's pretty close to being average good but it's deceptive at making you think there's potential. It's just not very fun and it's an abomination to the Pilotwings name. You'll be left with a bitter taste in your mouth if you enjoyed any of the previous games.

Mario Tennis kind of goes the same way as pilotwings. It's a total farce of a game. Nothing like the previous handheld versions and inferior still to the console versions. I absolutely HATE it due to it being such a missed opportunity.

Keep in mind, I found Steel Diver to be quite fun, so... yeah. I played Starfox and it's pretty fun on 3DS. So is Ocarina of Time, which looks sharp and the 3D effect works well with it. You can't go wrong with either just go with your gut. Get pilotwings on a cart if it's super, super, super cheap. In the States it can go for $5 and honestly, it's almost not even worth that.

There's absolutely no reason to grab Ocarina of Time or Starfox 64 - they're "remakes" of 16-year-old games, you might as well play them on one of the quadrillion other platforms they were released for. Get Fire Emblem or Kid Icarus, both excellent 3DS exclusives from what I'm hearing. ;)

Can't speak for starfox, but there absolutely are reasons to get oot. It's the best looking version of the game ever released, with a complete overhaul from the n64 version (which is what all the other versions look like). The way they handled use of the touch pad really streamlines the controls as well. The only reason not to get it is if you just flat out don't like the game.

I think there's only so many times I can play the same game. As I said a number of times on this forum, just giving a game a fresh coat of paint does not a remake make - look at how Twin Snakes looks in comparison to standard Metal Gear Solid - it's like two completely different games with the same story! It's almost as if the game was actually remade! :D

...but yes, if you're madly in love with Ocarina of Time and somehow never played it before despite it being released on each and every Nintendo home console since the N64 and now also on the 3DS, go on ahead. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it because it plays just like the original, and that's not necessarily a good thing - sometimes it just means that it feels dated.

how did you get the game free i cant translate the page

It's a campaign/promotion where if you buy almost any two 3DS titles (I bought Mario Kart 7 & LOZ:LTTP2) and register them to your JP Club Nintendo account, you can choose from 1 of 16(?) games to download via the eshop. Of course with the BS region locking, you'd need a JP 3DS and JP 3DS games.
I'm not sure if there are services out there that will be a proxy for CN stuff like this (cuz you need a JP address and phone number), but if there are I don't know of them (I just live here).
Unless you find a CN proxy-ish service, you likely can't partake in the buy 2 get a DL free campaign; sorry.

And the list is the JP Club Nintendo list.
I'm leaning toward Pilotwings, StarFox, Zelda or Kid Icarus. I'm kinda hesitant about Kid Icarus just because I don't have the 2nd analog pad.
Any advice or thoughts? Thanks :)
Kid Icarus. It's a great game that demonstrates how good shooter controls can be made without needing two analog sticks. I had no problems controlling it with the touchscreen.

Even that won't work, as the EU/US Club Nintendo codes probably won't work on the JP Club Nintendo site. Even if they did, the download code you get for the game will probably only work on a JP 3DS.

It ´s weird that no one has mentioned Culcept, personally that would be my choice.
I spend many hours of fun with the DS version.
I recently did I'm enjoying it though I need to know if it saves automatically or if I have to select save somewhere
