It's called constructive criticism. Everybody knew that it wasn't going to be a jetfighter plane of mobile apps simply because the 3DS is weak hardware, but that doesn't mean that "anything goes" and everyone will bow down to the might of Google - there are things that could've been improved and should've been improved.

I'm sure the app will be updated it just came out today, patience my friends. It's really not all that bad for what device it's on, it's definitely not great either but people need to stop jumping on the bandwagon.

I was actually hoping for a quality compared to the videos from Nintendo Video or the new Pokemon episodes on the eShop, those look quite good on a 3DS XL...

And off-topic, does anyone know if the Wii app got updated too? Last time I used it, it was buffering every 30 seconds :S

The Wii U app is useless IMO, Loading the videos in the browser works perfectly ;)

My buddy loves the crap out of it. Maybe for the most of us who have other devices (tablets, and phones) this app doesn't seem too worth it, but he doesn't have anything other than a 3DS and a computer, so it made him happy and I would say that was worth downloading for him.

For me, when it comes to portability, the 3DS is as good as I've got it, since my phone isn't up to snuff. Very easy too, just flip the wireless switch and load the app. The only bad thing I can think of is the language is set to your location (ip), not the device. Clearly that's Google, since that happens on PC too...

Just like me. Been waiting for (the only) solution.

Yeah, same here. I have an old phone who does only what a phone is supposed to do and it's more than enough for me. So that app is pretty neat even if I don't really plan on using it, unless I don't have access to my laptop.

I love the fact that everyone's bashing the app after asking for it since the day the system was released. Yeah, it may be buggy, but I'm pretty sure the Wii and Wii U versions had their growing pains as well. Give it some time, a few updates, and the app will be pretty damn good.

It's not so much that it's buggy, it's just it doesn't support 3D and the videos looks terrible. As Foxi said earlier, just because we get something we want doesn't mean we can't criticize it.

Anyways...I'd much rather watch Youtube on whatever other devices I have in the house instead of the 3DS.

I 've tried it and like it. What's all the complaints about? It is a nice FREE application. In order for the 3DS to show in 3D it needs videos with encoded especially for the 3DS. With this not going to happen you can use it as any other displaying medium. It's trully good!
