Dudes, I've just purchased a black 3DS XL and some Zagg protectors at Best Buy. Thing is the protector is AWFUL, and I went on and removed it. The issue is, it is VERY sticky, so when pulling it out, I noticed it was kind of lifting the most upper layer of the bottom screen (when you look to your screen under direct light you can notice that they're essentially two, or more idk, layers that when in contact with each other give out the location of the stylus point). It apparently didn't do any damage and the screen detects the stylus in all the points I've tried so far, but I'm afraid it might have stretched my screen. Did anyone ever have issues due to removing a bottom screen protector that might have stretched or even torn the screen itself? Thanks.

i once had the same problem. its not the screen layer, its the sticky layer of the poor quality protector. what i did was to use some pure ethanol to rub it away. i would not use acetone though since it may destroy the screen, but 100% ethanol was perfect. maybe less also works great!

I experienced the same problem removing this crappy screen protector off a DS lite, what i did is, I used a hair blow dryer on warm setting for about 20-30sec? After that it came off easily without much force.
