Shame. Hopefully I won't miss anything that I'm interested in because I'm unable to use NZone app.

Updated a DD-WRT/WL500g/Ubuntu script.
First Ubuntu-compatible release. Stability improved, you can now set cron job to run less frequently than every minute without an issue.
Feel free to get it from this post
Also a test version for Windows7 (Windows Script Host vbs file) is available now.

I'm trying to connect using a MAC, but when I go to Internet Sharing in System Preferences, it says I cannot do it because I am not sharing a port. I even had my MAC connected to an Internet source through Ethernet.

Also, I was logged into the MAC in guest mode. Could this be the problem? Do I need to be in admin mode?

Looking at the MAC OSX guide, I think you do need to be in admin mode to set this up.

Hi, sadly none of the laptops i have acces to has a wifi card capable to get into mode master, despite that, i used the Linux method to run some tests, it resulted that my 3DS detected a Ninty Zone but the connection to it failed at the end, i can't acces to Ninty Zone contents despite it detects it, do i have to configurate the 3DS connection somehow? is there a way to do this without a wifi card capable of get into mode master? Thank you and i hope someone answer me.

Edit: Also i have one more question :P can i streetpass with myself? that's actually the main reason why i try this.

You have to allow it first, or if you preffer in portuguese, você tem que permitir o acesso primeiro, executa o CMD como administrador e dê o seguinte comando:

Code:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow
i did it. and then run macshift -i "Wi-Fi" 4E53504F4F46
run the Virtual router, but show this mensage "virtual wifi device not found, Neither "Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter" or "Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter" were found"
2n8yonp.jpg

Ethernet = Wired , Wi-fi = Wireless , Conexão Local* 16 = Virtual

Then I share the connection manually, but does not connect to internet

Here's what you need to do.

1.Put ur Wifi Card/USB/Dongle in ur PC
2. Start>Search for '' CMD '' > Presse enter (For W7/W8) Start>Run>CMD>Press Enter (For XP)
3.Type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow in CMD and press enter
4.Run Virtual Driver and choose the Wired connection aka Ethernet Adapter in Shared Connection
5.Click Start VIrtual Router

Once u do that it should make a Virtual Driver for you.
One more things, you gotta disconnect ur Wifi Card/USB/Dongle, only Wired should be connected.

I did it, and in step 4 when I select the wired connection presents the message of the first image.

Virtual Router doesn't find ur connection it seems. Probably it has to do with the drivers not good installed or something.
I googled and it said to delete all adapters in Network ans sharing center and making new connections.
And that msg on the pic, Virtual Driver says that the Hoster Virtual Adapter service isn't enabled and that no Wifi Card is in the PC.
You can't connect if you don't have a Wifi card.

Someone who uses the router method can post here how your "Cron"? I think that i messed up mine, here is it:

Code:
*/2 1-24 * * * root /tmp/nzone 49,BASE16,GBATEMP

I want it to switch MACs all day long in every 2 minutes and in the max of MACs possible.

I go it to work on MAC OSX! :)

Now, is there any way to cycle certain MACs automatically with MAC OSX?

This will change MAC not frequently than once in two minutes 24x7

I did the setup in Windows 8.1 preview. (this post updated 9/27 evening)

Laptop: Toshiba R-something
Router: 2WIRE for AT&T modem/router

I followed elridge's method, using Virtual Router. I can now browse the web and also browse eShop and also check for updates via my HomePass attwifi. However, it's been 5 days since I set it up and I have not got a single rSP!!!

I had a regular SP at a restaurant two days ago, so I guess my SP is working at least P2P.

I've shut down everything, including SP on my 3DS, and restarted everything. I've followed all the steps from scratch. I also tried a couple other prime MACs on the list. Same problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Happy gaming.

Just put it on but after two minutes there was no change after all.

Just as I said, not frequently then once per two minutes. This means the delay may be bigger if you do not have enough addresses in the list to do continuous non-repetitive MAC change for 8 hours cooldown period. The script do not allow you to do selfish and use all the MACs in the short period of time.

I went ahead Monday night and installed and ran the MA Cycler (the new one - thanks, Team Fail!). It worked fine, and I verified I could browse the Internet on my 3DS via the virtual router each time a different MAC was spoofed. I left the cycler running all night Monday night. Come Tuesday (yesterday) morning, still not a single rSP!!! Again, I verified I could browse the Internet, surfing to sites I hadn't surfed to before (in case my faves had been cached on the 3DS). The NZ icon continues to flash.

Check what the actual mac address that the virtual hotspot is using and compare it to the one you tried to spoof.

no, I deleted all the other networks and the network was only attwifi.

Setup the virtual hotspot using the following commands and configure internet connection sharing.

Code:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=attwifi key=12345678

macshift -i "Wi-Fi" 4E53504F4F46

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

When you open up the status page for the virtual wireless network adaptor does it show that it has internet access next to "IPv4 Connectivity"?
