I see that the change log (on "http://code.google.com/p/home-smash/source/list") hasn't been updated in a while, are you still working on it and just not updating the list?

Yes I would like to know this as well, this is a good homebrew, and I would hate to see it go "dormant".

Thank you everyone, for the support. The link http://code.google.com/p/home-smash/source/list will always give the most recent updates. I just haven't gotten around to adding anything new in the past while.

We are open to anyone who wants to help with the coding of Mine DS, even if they have little experience in c++/any programming language (Before I started Mine DS, I only knew the "Basics of C++" part of this tutorial).

No, we don't have a date for the new version, and most of the work at the moment is being done on bug fixes and inventory, so we don't have any images to show you. (Other than maybe a picture of a sheep...)

Now, the crafting menu is almost finished.
~~It isn't functional yet, but you can browse through the crafting recipes and see what they need to make the item.~~ it's functional now

I'm Sorry, but I am going to have to quote you on that. Also congrats on being one of the remaining DS Homebrew projects as sad as that is, you have held on, which is something not many can do, (the game rocks too), so I thank you for that, I would and probably *hopefully* can contribute after I release the first build of the project I am working on, (hopefully soon)

Just wondering, what project are you working on? (And is it for the DS, PSP, Wii, Computer, etc.)

For the DS, Its an awesome project that I started a month or two ago. more details to come.
Also, I compiled the latest svn of MineDS, I Like the crafting interface, have yet to find any noticeable bugs, also this build supports DSi Mode via soduku hax!
