QUOTE(zoharmodifier @ Sep 14 2006, 01:52 PM)holy crap-- NDS/GBA linkage!? is that what i think it is?
Download it under the two little images between the | |.
Its in a box by itself.
And harvest moon works on G6 lite with No Trim and Safemode.
oh great thx for thatThat's totally cool. Is there a list of DS games that support the link feature? It would be rad if Star Wars 2 DS could link with Star Wars 1 GBA.
I found a list of linkage games on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ninte...ith_GBA_linkage
I can confirm the GBA Link feature worked fine, here's the steps i used for the following game.
Create Directory "Castlevania"
Place inside: 0999 - Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow.gba
Place inside: 0121 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U).nds
Wrote: 0999 - 0999 - Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow.gba -> Options Default (Nothing Changed)
Wrote: 0121 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U).nds -> DoFat + Software Reset
Inside the "Linkage" tab, Check "NDS/GBA Linkage enable" and if you have the .gba game in the same directory
of the .nds file, a new box with the game name will appear, i clicked on this so it was highlighted, then i choose ok to write.
Started g6:
MyCard -> GBA -> Highlighted 0999 - Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow.gba -> Pressed X -> Loaded
MyCard -> NDS -> Highlighted 0121 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U).nds -> Clicked -> Run
Started a new Game, Checked inventory and "Rare Ring" was listed under Equip -> Arms -> Accessory
Thanks g6 Team!
** YES ** BUT IT DOES NOT SAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything works fine if you don't turn off the NDS.
When you restart the NDS, it simply acts like the game was never loaded and nothing is written to the "0" file at all.
And the game that you started is gone. If there was a previous save there *BEFORE* using the DS-GBA link, it's still there, as the "0" file is never written to AFTER loading up a linked game.
