I just got my Supercard DSTWO today and I started to follow this but it tells me to format my SD. In the package that came I got two boxes; the DSTWO box and an 8 GB Kigston micro SD, and also a cheap USB with an SD card slot. Inside the SD card is the "_dstwo" folder, "dstwoboot.dat", and "readme_eng" which basically shows all the updates that has been made. What exactly am I to format, or should I even format at all since this is already on here?

Also, are the files that are on here steps 3 & 4, and should I just move onto 5?

See if the card boots with this setup.
If it does, it works and doesn't need an update.
Unless your DSi/3DS requires an update you don't have to update the card.
I would check if you have the latest version of the EOS, for game compatibility.

It loaded up fine, but my 3DS is on an older version because i just started using it again and didn't want to update in case it messed this up.

So, Should I put the files from the patch into the SD?

Edit: Okay, I got the DSTWO working properly and the game I tested worked fine and saved correctly though I have one question. Once I load up the card it shows a long horizontal list (like the 3DS list) and the one thing that is there is "DS_GAME", inside that is the TempGBA folder and my actual game. How do I move it so it's in the first section next to "DS_GAME"?

Also, I can't seem to get TempGBA to work. I have the BIOS located in the TempGBA folder before the CHEATS/GAMES/PICS etc. folders, and I have the game I want inside the GAMES folder but when I load up the card and go to the same folder where I have the GBA rom, there'es nothing there. What am I missing?

Edit again: The same with the SNES emulator; can you in and see all the folders but there is no game in the folder.

You need to put the TempGBA folder and CATSFC folder in the root of the SD card.
The actual emulators (nds files) with their bmp and ini files go into the _dstwoplug folder.
Now that the emulators are in the _dstwoplug folder you can start them from the plugin menu (the horizontal menu with ds_game in it).
In the emulator menu you can start the games.

Okay, I'm starting to understand. This is what is in my root, and this is what is in my TempGBA folder. What exactly do I move to here? What confuses me is when you said the nds files. I don't see any of these in the TempGBA folder, only a "tempgba" bmp file.

Put these files in your _dstwoplug folder:
tempgba.plg, tempgba.bmp, and tempgba.ini

This should work for and NDS file you want to add to the homescreen
Just add plugin.plg (this also works with .nds), plugin.bmp, and plugin.ini
They are customizable. I'm not sure if commercial ROMs work and show up on the homescreen of the DSTwo, but I have tested and homebrew does.

Okay so now that they are in there, should I just load up the gba/snes roms and be able to play them?

As for the nds files, there is only one file (until I make a save for it). For example, Pokemon Plaitinum.nds that I have been keeping in my "DS Games" folder. Should I move that whole folder inside the dstwoplug folder?

The DS_GAME plugin can explore the entire SD card so it really doesn't matter where the DS games are placed. (but for organization you're good right now with your DS Games folder) Make sure you put the GBA games in the correct folder in the the tempgba folder though

The GBA game is in the correct folder an the plugin files are in the right folder and I still only have that one DS_GAME icon in the homescreen/plugin screen.

Oh right..
I don't seem to have that folder anywhere.
Just create a folder called _dstwoplug and put the plg, ini and bmp files of both emulators in it.
Sorry for the mix up with the extension, I forgot that dstwo specific plugins have the plg extension instead of nds.

Ah okay. I'll go try that now.
As for getting actual DS ROMS like, say, Super Mario Bros. DS to show up at the home screen; how would I do that?

Also two quick questions. I know it says that Advance wars has some issues with dialouge boxes, but is there any way or will there be any way to fix this?
And I have an Advance Wars 2 rom on my PC that I'm quite far into, I moved the actual rom and the .sav file into the SD but when i tried to play it the game was rest. How can I get my save that i had to work?

Just tried Advance wars 2 and found that it also has dialogue issues though on that compatibility list it says it works fine.

Also, is there any way to play using the completely full screen? It cuts off a good bit on each side.

Advance wars 2 apparently did work with TempGBA beta 12, so try that version.
And no, there is no full screen option.
