Hey man!
I got serious problems right now.
So I have two (2) R4i Gold Pro carts from WWW.R4I-GOLD.COM
I followed your guide and downloaded its latest kernel from the website above. Then, I opened the R4i-SDHC YSMenu and copied the following files to the root of my sd card: TTMenu.dat, YSMenu.nds, TTMenu Folder and Games Folder.
I then booted up my flashcard and as mentioned by the "How to Install" readme file, loaded the YSMenu.nds file.
The top screen just went black and the bottom was white. Now whenever I try to load this first flashcart, my 3DS just can't detect it anymore after running YSMenu.nds the first time!
Thinking I did something wrong, I restarted my 3DS only to find out that it can no longer read my first R4i Gold Pro.
I did the same procedure on my second R4i Gold Pro, and the top screen was just black and the bottom was white after executing the YSMenu.nds file. Whenever I try to open my 3DS with the 2nd R4i Gold Pro cart, my 3DS just freezes on its home menu man.
Please help me bro!

My problem now is that my 3ds cant detect my first cart while the second cart causes my 3ds to just freeze on its home menu...
Hello. I was using 6.99 version in my r4i-sdhc.com card as primary kernel but I lost the archive. I download it again but know I only can install it as dual boot. ¿Can someone tell me please how can I install it as primary kernel?

Hey retro, now pokemon heartgold and soulsilver(spanish version) works, but the "PKMN Related/Random Pokemon Encounters(Wild Pokemon you encounter while in tall grass are completely random. It can range from 1 to 493)" and "PKMN Related/Random Pokemon Levels(Wild Pokemon you encounter in tall grass have a completely random level. It can range from 1 to 100)" doesn´t work. I´m using the Ysmenu 6.99.6216(latest DAT) in a r4IIIshc. It works like I didn´t actived the cheat. Sorry by my text, but i´m spanish

Retro, I have some problems with the pokemon heartgold and soulsilver(spanish version) games beacause with the 512 kb .sav it usually shows the blue screen and the game was deleted, but with the 8 mb .sav if I put DMA, reset and cheat the game sometimes was deleted, and if I don´t select any option it sometimes when it says "touch the screen to start" it starts a new game without the blue screen. I found a solution and it´s that: select only DMA and use the 8 mb .sav and hardly ever says "will be loaded the game saved before" in Spanish: "Partida dañada. Se cargará la partida guardada anteriormente". In the Battle frontier, Frente de Batalla when you select "break" it saves and loads the game, but always appear the blue screen. Please solve it. I´m using a r4IIISDHC with the firmware 6.99 6216(DAT update). Thanks
Edit:I updated the kernel to the latest and I created a 2mb save and it works fine with Dma and Cheat!!
Edit2:I found how does it not get damaged game. Activate the first cheat in misc and TARAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is and works!!!!!!
Edit:I updated the kernel to the latest and I created a 2mb save and it works fine with Dma and Cheat!!

Hi retro, im using this r4 http://www.r4isdhc.com/download_silver_new2013/ with the 13/08/2013 kernel. Is is compatible? Would you be so kind to explain to me how can i make it to work without destroing mi r4? thx

It would appear not. Carts from that site use cloned kernels from other carts and they have changed the kernel yet again. Avoid carts from R4iSDHC.com!

Any chance for an update to fix the newly released Ace Attorney Investigations 2 partial fan translation patch? Throws errcode=-4 at present for me with the latest version.

As a complete newbie I'm stuck here, I bought a flashcart off ebay, but no kernel for the micro sd. This is the R4 Renovation sdhc V2.10T. The website on the card doesn't appear to be working even if it was I probably wouldn't be able to navigate to correct download. I have tried many other sites with no success. I need help to download a working kernel for this card. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Typical newbie only finds this, like 10 minutes after I posted here. The kernel for this card is R4SDHC_2010_V2.10T07_English

doesn't work i tried with many different roms but keep getting error -4, would be nice to get another update ^^

1. downloaded and extracted Panasonic SD formatter
2. downloaded and extracted R4SDHC_2010_v2.10T07_English
3. downloaded and extracted 31964-RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.99
4. downloaded and extracted 32375-RetroGameFan DAT Update v6.99 6244
A. Format the micro SD card using Panasonic SD Formatter as per retrogamefan's instructions
B. Copy and paste the contents of R4SDHC_2010_v2.10T07_English folder into the root of the freshly formatted micro SD card.
C: Copy and paste the contents of the R4i-SDHC YSMenu folder (found in 31964-RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.99) into the root of your micro SD card.
D: Update the latest files using 32375-RetroGameFan DAT Update v6.99 6244 as per retrogamefan's instructions
NB. when instructed by retrogamefan to replace files into "the SYSTEM or _rpg Folder" these files should be copied and pasted into the R4iMenu folder found on the micro SD card.
All credits go to retrogamefan and the other folk he mentions, all I did was use the tools that they have kindly shared with us, thanks again to them.
