Anyone else getting the static coins in all levels and water in some levels?
This is Dolphin emulation issue, happens in original NSMBWii too, if i recall correctly the new revisions but that but there's also a fix for that but i can't remember now what is it.

How do we check version?

Open the iso of your game and check for any of these files:

Code:
COPYDATE_LAST_2009-10-03_232911
    VER=EURv1
    GAMEID=SMNP01

COPYDATE_LAST_2010-01-05_152101
    VER=EURv2
    GAMEID=SMNP01

COPYDATE_LAST_2009-10-03_232303
    VER=USAv1
    GAMEID=SMNE01

COPYDATE_LAST_2010-01-05_143554
    VER=USAv2
    GAMEID=SMNE01

COPYDATE_LAST_2009-10-03_231655
    VER=JPNv1
    GAMEID=SMNJ01

Found inside the patch tool.

I thought i had a pretty beefy system, i7, 12gb ddr3 and a OK (not great but ok) graphics card of Nvidia GeForce GTX 460.... But holy hell does it slow down when that is on. Is there any other way to get the animations working in dolphin?

I believe you bottlenecked your PC, a low GPU + High CPU = Low Performance.

Am I the only one still waiting for Another Super Mario Bros Wii to be completed by
damysteryman

? lol
lmaol.. no your not the only one, I haven't officially made a request but hey here it is, I think it would be awesome. There is already an ISO out there to d/load though DrJack6, however I don't think it's the updated 2.0 version.

I'm hoping if he gets bored he can mock something up for 2.0 Another Super Mario Bros Wii.

Someone needs to take Newer and just make it an ISO that works for everyone.

There is a scene releaser of this out there. You just need to find it. Also if I had the know how on how to patch Riivolution mods I would be making these patches ASAP. Hopefully DaMysteryMan comes back to us soon!

I have an i5 2500K OC'd to 4.5GHz, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and a GTX 670 FTW and my speeds still drop to 70-80% with EFB > RAM unless I use DX11, 1x native resolution and DSP HLE. Even then a few stages lag a bit. :(

Anyway, thanks a lot for the patcher. Now I can play Newer through Dolphin and stop competing for our living room TV xD
