GCIT is pretty cool. It had what the official toolbox took a while to get AND before it was XP compatible ... with a few extras
BUT
What I'd really like having it included in WBM for, besides batch conversion, is the HASHING. I love being able to SHA-1 a Wii disk but once a GC game's already compressed or extracted I have no idea how to check it's internal hashes to see if it's still good.

Does anyone know if wii backup manager can convert an ntsc-j iso with an english patch to wbfs so it can be loaded through usb loader gx? If so, will it affect the english patch? I know it's kind of a run-on question.

Any idea??

Neither 7-zip or winrar works with that .z files. If I try to read them in a browser it doesnt display anything.

Since the last post, here in this thread, from fig2k4 is now more than 1 year old, may be it's time (for me) to share his last special and unreleased build of "Wii Backup Manager Build 79" !
I had the opportunity to test it, by the time, since I posted a feature request.

The following link appears to be still working:
http://www.4shared.com/file/M3gzXGR9/WiiBackupManager_Build79.html

The changelog:
0.4.6 Build 79
--------------
|-Added: A little antialiasing for the software cover renderer. Still not as good as using OpenGL/Direct3D, but it removes some of the jaggies when the image isn't too large.
|-Changed: The covers menu moved to "Tools->Covers".
|-Changed: Internal cover folder format to "c:\covers\3d". I'm not sure why it was using "c:\covers\3d\%s.png".
|-Added: When selecting a folder, there's a new dialog that allows you to manually enter the path. Use the button in the dialog to browse for the folder just as before.
|-Changed: Only one instance of WBM is allowed to run from the same folder at any time. It's still possible to run multiple instances as long as they're not in the same folder. The main reason for this is that the database can't be shared between instances and would lock up the app.

Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me. I've been using Wii Backup Manager successfully for a few weeks, 3-5 weeks. Well I've bought an external harddrive. And for the last two weeks it was working fine up until I tried putting Metroid Other M in, it froze at about 12% roughly. So after two hours. (I was being patient) it closed. Since then I haven't been able to put in any more games, Even the previous games that were already inside. NSMB for example. So after some extensive searching I found nothing but to format the drive. So I did, I partitioned it to FAT32 and I use WiiFlow. So with no luck I turn to ask here. Can anyone help? I'm not tech suave but I'm a fast learner so any advice would suffice. Thank you. And if this is the wrong place I apologize.

found a bug on 0.4.5 B 78 (running on vista x86 and w7 x64)
upon resizing(or moving) any window or dialog, the app crashes...
it has lead to many failed transfers, leaving a few thumb drives in need of
a reformat to fix the filesystem errors..

I would do anything to help fix this(is this open source???), please feel
free to PM me if I can help in any way!!!
