I read on GAF there is some Agito trademark filing rumor going around. If it turns out legit and they suddenly announce a Vita version will you guys still keep working on this for the PSP owners? If it actually turns out true it wouldn't shock me to be honest. I suspected they were aware of your project and not want to lose money and suddenly decide to localize it as a personal conspiracy theory haha. Ayway keep up the good work guys and love to check the update once a week.

Serious answer: We shall see what happens. As it turns out we will probably continue anyway. I believe that while not so much for me but for others this project is a great learning experience for learning the JP language. Just an example. I hope Square doesn't betray their fans once more.

I think the plan so far is to continue regardless of what SE does, we wouldn't want the PSP users to miss out.

I'll be honest. I would take FF Agito for 3DS in a heartbeat.

If the game finally gets a western localized release, it's not gonna be for PSP, so we can always try and dump the English script and put it in the PSP version. It wouldn't be the 1st time I do this with a Final Fantasy title

I just watched the video on Vimeo and I must say, I like the way it looks. I can't wait to see how it turns out. By the way, one thing stood out for me while I was watching the video. The woman with the cigarette was called Arecia in the dialogue. Is that permanent, i.e decided that that's what you're going with from now on, or are you going to change that in the future? The reason is whenever I see her name plate, Alethia or Aletheia, comes to mind. I googled Aletheia and it gave me [Greek word that is variously translated as "unclosedness", "unconcealedness", "disclosure" or "truth"].

Just adding my 2 cents. What ever you guys go with I'm a 100% behind it

Arecia Al-Rashia is her name as given by the official JP site. We will probably go over the names and do some research on em. So your input helps in that regard.

Cool. Glad I can help in some small way. Even though the official JP site names her as Arecia, Alethia sounds cooler and it has meaning. Who knows, since Square-Enix did not deign to bring FF-Type 0 to the west as of yet, what ever name you guys use, that's what is going to be used by the fandom from the patch release on.
