Hey everyone, it's me! I've started writing my review of SCLite, and I decided I would answer all the questions of everyone here. I will do ROM tests(providing you give me the number), look tests, and any other tests you can think of!

Please do a battery test with:

moonshell and video
moonsheel and mp3
NDS game

basically to see how long the batter can last.

I'd like to see some battery tests done in GBA mode for GBA games and using the Goomba Color emulator for GB/GBC games, if that's all right

.

EDIT: Sorry gotta edit this. Could you check if Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 works ok on Goomba Color, if you decide to use it when battery testing. Reason I ask is I only have a GBAMP and the one currently released doesn't play it as perfect as regular Goomba, thanks again!

What would interest me the most is to see how good\bad GBA compatibility is with the SC Lite, I am currently waiting for the M3 Lite but will consider the SC Lite if I know that it can run GBA games fairly well. I'd be happy if you could bring an example of the worst supported game and how it effected your gameplay so we'll know what to expect in worst case scenarios.

Any hardware problems such as it not reading the microsd card correctly, does the microsd fall out easily, and absolutely no slowdowns?

Cover off the practical basics of living with the cart that often get missed in reviews. How comfortable is it to play with? How much most comfortable is it than a SC mini?

I already have mine and I am a little disappointed with the corners that stick into my fingers. Nothing like the Mini that left indentations on my pinky fingers but more than I expected.

i'm just more concerned about hte slow down's in games with a normal micro sd card.. like castlevania intro and tony hawk skateland.. not too sure of any other problem games

yea also is it likely that the front loader would get loose?

Basically I've written about 2 pages, I'm on battery test plus covering slow-downs and game tests

Tony Hawks is said to run better, by a forum member (moderator) at SCDEV, on a faster mem card. He used a Kingmax (0.8 m/s access speed) and said it had an advantage over the 2 Sandisks ones he had(1.1 m/s and 1.0 m/s). He even said it ran slightly better than it did on his G6 !

Let's see.. I'm not really familiar with GBA games (didn't own a GBA, and didn't really keep up..)
A few GBA:

YES YES YES please!
talkie versions (should be possible, FAT lib) of sam&max hit the road OR day of the tentacle
(scummvmDS, talkie are 200MB or so, SHOULD be possible! non-talkie 14MB)

EDIT: has been confirmed to work - check out the scummvm ds thread I created. Patch the program with the moonshell patcher!
