So yeah my computer has been going slowly for a little while I have the asus g74sx BBK8 laptop and well i have gotten a BSOD of death before. But a week ago i turned it off after being on for like 2 days (i do this on a regular basis) went out for a little while came back turned it on and got to the desktop then BSOD. I let it do what it needed to to do then turned it back on thinking it would be fine as this has happened before. But no i get to the desktop then like one minute later BSOD again and this continues for a little while. Until the next day when i was able to get it to boot into the desktop and run at least one program at a time i.e minecraft but it did it slowly and cumbersome. After a day of this it goes back to doing the BSOD after being in the desktop for like a minute or less. So yeah im thinking wither corrupt OS or failing HDD what are your guys opinions. Maybe its something else i don't know im glad i installed Ubuntu in my second HDD when tf2 did that tux promotion as my computer runs ill say like pretty well when i run Ubuntu from my second HDD. It just doesn't wanna do anything really from my main one. So yeah do i need a new HDD and if so where is a good one cheap i want a 1 TB one at least and i want it to last and keep in mind this is a laptop so its gotta be 2.5 inches so, yeah if u know what my problem is or know a good reliable cheap HDD that goes in a laptop link me please.
