Hacking I updated my DSi XL to 1.4.5... Am I A Gonner? :(

your card needs to be updated with a firmware flasher that is stored inside the kernel, if you could supply the pic of your exact card i can tell you what update you need
if its a 1.4.3 you need to find the kernel that once the card is running to
the card needs to be running to update it tho
so either a dsi on compatible firmware or a DSlite or Phat will be needed to do this

I have a DS Lite to update my card on, no problem. I tried updating it already but I think I'm doing it wrong because there's no option to update - I'll take and upload pictures now.

you may have to find older versions of the kernel as the latest one will only be for the newer cards, but you should be able to get up to 1.4.5 with it
what kernel version where you on before
should display on the flashcard menu in one of the corners when you run it on a lite

on the main menu of the card, once it has first booted in the lite, whats the number in the bottom left

"Ver1.67b" So version 1.67 bI'm so scared I'm gonna have to buy a new R4i card... I really don't have the money atm!

should have the firmware update that makes your card compatible with 1.4.5
try the update procedure with that and if it does then you can upgrade to 1.67b so you have the latest kernel then afterwards

r4i-sdhc.com brought out 2 new cards to replace older versions as cards marked 4.4 for 3ds and 1.4.4 could not be updated to latest firmware settings at that time for 3ds on 4.5 and dsi on 1.4.5

First apologize to all customers for informing this late.We released 1.65 several days ago but this kernel can not be used for the old cards to update to latest version.That means all the old cards can not be supported to be compatible with 4.5 3ds,1.45 dsi/xl.Our current 4.5 version r4i-sdhc 3ds or RTS card will be needed.Thanks!

this is my probem to .... how can i play my dsi now ? i updated too my dsi to 1.4.5 and i can't even access my r4i .. kindly please tell me what to do. thanks in advance !
