Hacking Wii Games w/Mic - Known Issues?

I bought several games with the Logitech USB Microphone for the Wii.
Using USB Loader GX.
All other 38 games work flawlessly.
Skylanders USB Portal works perfectly.

Hard drive is connected to the left USB port.
USB Hub connected to the right USB port. Skylanders Portal connects to hub (when needed).

The games do not see the USB Mic: Def Jamstar, Naked Brothers Band, We Sing Pop.
I connected the Mic to my non-mod Wii with retail disc and everything worked flawlessly.
I am hoping their is a fix for this and that the Rockband/Guitar Hero doesn't have same issue since I just sunk my paycheck into The entire band gear.

Any help is appreciated. I'm sure others are using USB microphones with their setup

When I click on the game, I then click setting and make the change for 'this game only' ?

UPDATE: I am wrong, no setting when you click game for ios 57.. I'll need help doing as you asked

you don't need to select ios slot 57
you need to select a slot to which you installed a cios based on ios 57

but without a syscheck there is no way to tell if and where that might be
(it's like "the second rightmost game in your shelf", different for most people)

you might want to consult the guide you used to mod (many use slot 250 iirc)
or post a syscheck
or simply install one (eg to slot 250) (eg with modmii) and select that

I made a .doc of the tutorial since it was too easy to use

IOS57 = IOS 250

I did it to one game and it works!
Will I need to do this for Rockbands and Guitar Heroes?

I don't know which game requires which, but it doesn't hurt to try

personally I try a base 56 cios first (should handle most things fine)
then 57 (mostly needed to solve problems with (normal) mics)
and finally 58 (mostly needed for problems with other usb things (or the "wiispeak" mic iirc))

We Sing Pop + Def Jam RapStar works using 250.
Naked Brothers Band still doesn't detect Mic. I know it is a game for girls, but hoping you can help me fix it

or should I start a new thread for it?

You might try updating your cios to a recent release of cios d2x if you don't already have one.

other than that I'm out'a suggestions.
If you have time wait if someone else shows up in this thread, otherwise a new one about that game might be best.
(You did try a seach first, did you?)

Yes, and I just searched again (to be safe). Mostly just release thread bashing the name

My daughter likes them.

I've had issues with usb mic games as well and cios250 fixed all of them. I've also made it a habit of plugging in the mic before powering up the wii as this was a problem for me on some games. Hope this helps.

I am using 250 for Mic games and Mic is plugged in before powerup of unit. Just Naked Bro Game is not detecting it. I appreciate your input

You need to post a sys check, depending on when and how you modded your wii depends what cios is installed.

Actually, I just finished testing it on 223 and it works

For future reference, can you tell me how to do a system check? It is 2 month old soft mod install.

Could also explain to me how to use the mics?

My syscheck tells me I got: IOS223[38+37] (rev 4, Info: hermes-v4): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0

you need to look at the line 249 and 250, not the line 223.
by reading the previous messages (from 2013!) you should have understand that you need to select a IOS with a base 57.
look at your syscheck, it should tell you "250[57]" which means that your slot250 contains a base 57.
Go to the game settings and set the IOS slot to 250.

if you have another slot with "[57]" then select that slot number instead.
Don't select the "slot 57", but a slot with "[57]" in bracket.
