Hey, I know you said not to ask for a release date but is there any chance that you could put an expected release date near where you have placed the progress?

You guys are awesome! I've been waiting for the patch for a long time now, so if you need a couple of months to finish the translation, so be it. Thank you for all your hard work and continue to progress with the project!

Just read the the thread, whole from start to end, so sorry I mean no offense, my head hurts right now (even misspelling words I usually wouldn't -- I go back and check, so you won't see it). Also, some of the 'comments' made me chuckle, and others made me wish I was here ealier.
Be warned, this is may be long.

Anyways first, I'm glad you guys are doing, and still continuing (been a year or two right?), this project. I've probably read your other thread, but I just did it once then forgot about it (waiting), and now came back (so time when Xros, anime and game - I think - were released, and I found about the game) [I think all, those who have been asking for it (patch/estimate/etc), should do this, much easier in my opinion];

So thanks for your work and dedication, I'll be waiting, in anticipation, for the patch. Though I'll offer my help on 'proofread'/'localize' the project, I don't think I'm 'up to standards' -- mainly grammar and puncutations, though wording is also in the 'equation' of my lackingness -- I'll let you be the judge of that, though this post.

Also I would like to ask, will there be a second patch for the digimon 'profiles' (the descriptions for them and such)? Asking for, from what I've played (dusk and DS, dawn was too 'bright' for me) there are minute changes to them, and whenever I get bored, I'd go over there and read up on them.



Ps. To those of you who are asking for a estimate, come up with one yourself [I suggest a year or more], then multiply that by 3-10 (5 for me). (Multiplier = circumstances -- in your opinion, of what you've read from their posts) No point in asking, as their circumstances may not allow them to post -- if they can't work on the project, don't even expect them to be able to post, easy as that.

Ps2. I think I'm forgetting something, it's on the tip of my tongue, but can't say it.

off topic: u doing a good job translating the game for free but how about nintendo 3ds?
like soon the games that is supposed to come out for ds will start coming out only for 3ds like pokemon x and y announced only for 3ds, my question is how will people play a translated game later for 3ds if isn't there a 3ds emulator? all i find about 3ds on internet is fakes, only people with the 3ds console will have the oportunity to play his games? since theres not a working 3ds emulator for computer?

As for now, even people with 3DS consoles can't play with 3DS ROMs only 3DS Cards (Commercial Game). So, they can't play translated 3DS ROMs since no one will bother himself to translate something which cannot even be played.

Update about the translation.. I'm now adding story text to the PAK and I got an issue which is not always occurs. It is like happens only when I try using previous save states but I should test it throughly. Also, the story is translated up to the part where they enter the digital world (not a big change but it is good start).

I mean by putting text is taking the text from the translated sheet and added it into the PAK since there is limitation in how many characters per line in the dialog box.

Hey Guys!

I want to thanks Yugix and the other guys for this amazing work you are doing, it takes so much time and mental stress, also you work while having your personal life,work,studies and more.
I have been following this thread since it started and every week i come to check out the improvements, i am pleased that it may be finished someday, as long as no one give up!.

Keep up the good work and don't stress too much! :-)

PD: I'm going to train the shit out of Agumon when it's ready, it will be like digimon-rape

I'm no expert but I'm willing to bet it's something to do with the game trying to load something that isn't there any more, savestates can be kinda picky like that.

So the translation is probably at the point where I stopped playing then? (I got to the farm section then got confused and just decided to wait until I can understand it all).

Thank you, and everyone else who has worked so hard, and continue to do so, on this project. I wish we got all the Digimon games here as I really enjoy, most of, them.

the lost evolution project or the redigitize one (witthoutt forgeting that they start much later and have few people working on the project too) :D
kidding aside i can't wait to see both projects done :P

Thats because that file is loaded into memory entirely from what I recall. So it might cause problems if the file grows too much larger than its original size.

And... Hello guys. I may be new here, but I've been following this thread for some time, and I really need to thank everyone working on this, I really do. I'd love to help, but coding isn't really my thing. (I mean, I'm 15, what the hell do I know about coding? Nothing... Yet.) You guys have inspired me to learn about this kind of stuff. Except I have no idea where to start. But I digress. I take my hat off the entire team, and everyone supporting this. But you ever need assistance in something, if it's in my reach, you'll have a helping hand. Two helping hands, actually. Keep up the awesome work! :D

About the text, the issue is with the size of box against font. It required that mostly 30+ characters per line.

I got only one issue. In the snapshot below, you will see that the name of attack in battle is shifted.
That cause some of attacks to be cut in the right side.
Could you check it?
