I want to upgrade my micro sd card to either a 16 or 32...Does the DSWO take any size and class? Does anyone recommend any particular kind or good deal? Thanks.

Apparently the DSTwo can handle 64GB but you will have to reformat to FAT32 which isn't as easy as you think (but not too bad) if you are on 'Doze.

Well I could get a type 4 16gb for 10 dollars from New Egg. Or I could get a type 10 for 20 dollars from Best Buy. What are the benefits of the type 10? Will I get really fast load times or something?

Class 4 cards are basically a guarantee that the random-access read speed and write speed will be at least 4 megabytes per second (4 MB/s). Sandisk cards read above that even if they are just Class 4. They just write more slowly. What's important is the read speed for a game. My Sandisk Class 4 16 GB reads at 17 MB/s and writes at 4.8 MB/s, for instance.

For most games Class 4 is fine; for some a Class 6 is required; but a Sandisk Class 4 would be better than insert other brand name here Class 4.

Class only officially outlines write speed (important for video cameras and such), but in general the well-made cards have a decent read speed as well which is why I usually tell people to go with a Class-6 to be safe... and yeah, the brand matters in this case (since it's generally direct manufacturers and resellers), as well as getting it from a decent place. Can't tell you how many people we've had pick up no-name flash memory from ebay, only to find it's fake (formatted to 32Gb but only physically 2GB, etc.)
