They basically stretched the DS longer than necessary by already having a second generation released on it instead of moving to the new system as usual.
But then they even went so far as to release proper sequels on it, for obvious connectivity purposes and well...for people who played the originals to be able to play their sequels.

There is just no way for another main series game to appear on the DS, as the move to 3DS is way overdue.

Well I think he is right, Since the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon will be on 3DS, there is really High Possibility for next gen or remake will be on 3DS, or Probably the next Gen will have a version for 3DS and the other version for DS, Like they did before on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red Rescue Team.

I'm not sure what makes you guys think that just because one target or one Walmart has broken the date that they all will , for the hell of it I checked Walmart yesterday whole grabbing other shit for the house and it wasn't on the shelf , when I asked if they had it....they said no even after looking around for a few.

btw, proof that walmart and some other sites were selling them early was already given,
if it's proof that you got it, who cares? people have played the JP version weeks and weeks ago. and in a week everyone'l have it,plus there are a few already in this thread who have it.

you need the official cartridge

maybe there will be a patch or something, cause the supercard ds2 can emulate original cardridges

you need it in DSi mode to use the features

you can only get Wifi on the old connection

only one card ran in DSi mode
Cyclo DSi
and that was blocked a while ago and the team never released an update
alot of the DSi feature dont load on it either due to the exploit
