Looks like nobody else has noticed but, since mod rev 33, the 'return to system menu' setting doesn't work.
Well it works intermittently, but fails 9 times out of ten.

So you want to load cfg loader from the sdhc card and have it load the games off the hard drive.

You should just be able to put all the cfg files on the sd card and leave nothing cfg related on the usb drive. Just the wbfs folder with the games in it.

Also to exit a game and load cfg again just put this in your config text

return_to_channel = auto

Using that it will return you to whatever method you launched cfg with.

So if you launch cfg loader with a forwarder channel it will basically go back to cfg again since its loading the forwarder channel.
If you launch cfg with the HBC then it will take you back to the HBC.

If you always want it to reboot into the forwarder channel no matter what replace "auto" with the ID of your forwarder channel.

Also i think all you need to add to the config is

device = sd

I don't think putting sdhc is necessary

Setting to "auto" sends me back to homebrew not cfg... Why is it happening?

Also loading cfg from priiloader installed file directly in boot it crashes... Generally crashes when hard disk has just started working.. Can this be fixed?

What's the 4 letter title ID (Check you WAD file, it usually has it in the name) of your Cfg forwarder channel?

I was able to see the channel ID from cfg main --> channels. Now I get -101 error there.

I think that it is ucxf:58... I have to find a way to see this for sure...

Edit: It is ok. I had to reset the root's folder config. It comes back to cfg now.

Since I've installed in SD card it has as default ios 248(the one shown in loading screen) and in config I've set 249. What do I have check to see what is wrong? Something else except root usb loader and app folder config file?

i have a 3.2u SNEEK nand that runs perfectly in sneek, it has no channels except the disc/HBC and its only like 65mb! if i were to install my wiiware onto that nand do you think it would all work out? looking through showmiiwads i can see the only ioses my wiiware requires are like, 38,53,56 i think, dunno maybe more...but what i guess im asking is, if i simply update the IOSes (all) to the latest versions would it work great? im mainly wanting to do this because a normal simple FS dumper/bootmii nand is like 500+mb, so im assuming starting with a 65mb nand should save some considerable space.
any thoughts? and thanks again!

Lol, you still haven't fixed the color issue, based on the picture above.

The version on the picture has the old button color, again.

http://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader-mod/source/browse/trunk/data/button.png?r=1

button.png was changed in r39.
The version on the picture uses the button.png from r1, again

I am not sure if any of you have ever tried to use CFG mod to play
a multi-disc GC game. (so far only "devolution" can support this)

Here is the instruction to use CFG mod r37 beta10 (currently only this version
of CFG works) to play a multi-disc GC game.

1. Make sure to put "loader.bin" of devolution to \usb-loader\ folder.

2. Rename ISO file of disc2 to gam2.iso and put in the same folder as disc1.
(EX: usb:\games\whatever folder name\ )
It means you only can see disc1 (game.iso) shows in the game list.
(so there are game.iso and gam2.iso in the game folder)

3. Load/Start disc1 and when disc2 is required (like this picture below),
just simply click on "Eject button". Then the disc2 iso file should be loaded
automatically.

** Excuse me for these "Japanese" because I don't have other
multi-disc GC games.
I would like to attempt this... except that there's one rather large problem with that.

First, I would actually need to be able to rip the second disc in a given multi-disc game... and so far, config-usb Loader is not giving me that ability at all. To summarize what happens is...
  1. I insert the second disc at the install prompt
  2. cfg-usb recognizes it is a "disc 2" of a game I already ripped disc 1 of.
  3. I press A on my Wii-mote to have it install the second disc.
  4. cfg-usb seems to pause for about two or three seconds, then...
  5. cfg-usb prompts me with the options to download covers or eject DVD, as if it already ripped the entire contents of Disc 2 for me. Naturally, this is highly suspicious since I know the Wii's DVD drive is not nearly that fast.
So I can't even get cfg-USB to even RIP the games in the first place, much less be able to rename the second disc's ISO in order to use devolution as you describe. So, um... what do I do? so far the only games I need to finish ripping are Gamecube multi-disc games (RE 0, 1, and 4 if it matters any).
