Nice to see you working on BW2. Question, will it be easy for you to transfer this hack to the official US/EU copies when they are released later on? Also, do we have a new ETA for the v2.0 of SG/SS?

Yup, thanks to the narc files it'll be very easy. All I'll need to do in the English version are some text changes, the rest I should be able to just carry across.

And no, I still haven't got a concrete date I'm afraid. D=

edit: Random tidbit, seems Challenge Mode can do something interesting...

Just beat Bugsy, nothing yet. I'm on Desmume 0.9.6 (anything up lags) and using Version 1.05 Looking forward to BBVW2. It looks very cool. And that glitch is hilarious :P

I just entered Azalea town and I found a lvl 16 bagon, I believe that's pretty damn rare so I caught it. I'm not sure if I should add it to my team. Not only that but I got a lvl 15 treecko from a quiz master.
If I added them both to my team, I'd say I have my dream team right there. Here's what it would look like
Espeon lvl 19
Wartortle lvl 19
Quilava lvl 17
Magnemite lvl 17
Bagon lvl 16
Treecko lvl 15
That's 6 already lmao. I'm not sure if I should grind all of my pokemon equally until they start kicking ass at around 5th-6th gym. I think Bagon would help me the most because not only will it be a badass pokemon but it can also learn fly. I'm hoping I can get a lvl 20 or 25 turtwig or something from another quiz master. Decisions decisions...
What do you think I should do?
Also soft resetting will just freeze my game =/

Good, you have a defensive Pokemon. A Steel Type will massively help you out in the Gym. You should grind until all of your Pokemon are at LEAST Lv18. And also, Bugsy has Rain Dance on some of his Pokemon so be careful. If you would like to know his team, I can't remember so look on YouTube (I have a vid about it) and find some battles against him.

Thank's for the reply but I was looking for an answer that would tell me if it's worth it to keep playing with 6 pokemon so early in the game.

Oh ok. Well currently I've got 4 Pokes but it doesn't matter how many you have.

I think it does though. It'd be a pain leveling all 6 equally so early in the game. Especially since they're not that good in early stages and the difficulty in this hack is increased.

That's just a matter of opinion. It's always good to have more Pokemon to help you move on. If you're wondering if you should play with 6 so early because you may want to ditch one later, I would say keep 6 until you find a Pokemon that you will definitely want and then ditch one of the ones you already have. Remember, with hacks like this since you can get every Pokemon, it all comes down to preference.

I did my research and looked at all the possible pokemon that I would find up until the elite 4. Treecko can't be replaced unless I get a turtwig later on. Bagon can be replaced with Dratini but Salamences stats and movepool are much better than Dragonite, that, and I find Dratini later in the game meaning it will have very few ev points. Salamence will have a nice amount of ev points. I think my team is quite good and I'm sure I'll have fun with it. Thing is It'd be a pain leveling all 6 equally so early in the game. Heh, I always try to level my Pokemon evenly, but once Pokemon (such as my Espeon) will always seem to be a higher level or just totally destroy everything. That's why at the beginning I focus on my two best, and my two worst Pokemon until I get the EXP. Share, and then I level my other two up with that. Once they are all equal again (or close to it) I just use the EXP. Share on the Pokemon that start lagging behind.

That reminds me that you actually get exp share before the 1st gym bade in this hack. That changes things. I guess I'll just suck it up and train them.

I have tried Nuzlocking this Dray, and it's pretty damn hard :P I'll probably try it again sometime, but I love this hack and patiently await an update :) If you still need beta testers for either hack (BBVW2) etc Ill happily sign up, I've got plenty of free time.

I am using supercard DSTwo, not R4, so you can add one more cart issue for the Steven and Mew event..., I also found the issue on it's hex format by using a trainer toolkit, it looks like the whole 0x8000> part is messed and that's where the script data is stored on that event, on the mew freeze event it's not even frozen, I am simply not getting a command that finishes my "interaction" with mew, hope it helps

about the B2W2 hacks you are making and how should you release them - with the approval of ProjectPokemon\PokeStation to use his translated patch- should be released now with a region tag (Pokemon Blaze Black [J].xxx) and when the european and north american versions of the game will get a release and a dump you should simply test it out with your patch, fix bugs and release the patch in a zip file having a folder dedicated for patching with the JAP region and other folders dedicated for the NA\E region, however you shouldn't keep supporting the jap version with updates, since the save file will still sync between J and NA\E games the player can play the game now and switch to a fully translated hack of the game later, an option most of us will choose, hence why you shouldn't focus on the JAP version, that way you get to release the hack, get feedback earlier and improve the game for the bigger release with the international release, the only cons about this method is that you are applying yourself a deadline....

I think I need some help from someone who plays this on the DSTwo xD

The USRcheat.dat works flawlessly, so it's nothing wrong with that.

However, when I try to use the cheats with patched ROM's (for example, this game) nothing shows up! Do I have to meddle with the ID of the game or what?
I don't use a DSTwo so I can't say for sure, but you do need to make sure the Game ID does match with SGSS in the usrcheat for it to show up.
How to I do that? And can I change the ID without any effects on the hack?
I think you missed me (no wonder with so many people you answered).

But yeah, if you don't know it's cool.

Thanks for the update Drayano, I've been waiting for v2! hopfully that comes out next week ;). And thanks for Swords Dance (I hope you also remembered my earlier comment about Crunch/pursuit for Skuntank!) on Quilfish.

As for BB2/VW2 I would probably like to see it with just the NA version since I like official dialogue and stuff, but it's up to you. I guess it will be debugged faster is you do choose to release it with the translation patch.
